LoL 14.10 Jungle Lane Champions Tier List: Best Ranked Picks
Riot Games

LoL Patch 14.10 was massive, bringing some buffs and nerfs but mainly changes to runes, summoner spells, and items. All of this has shaken up the meta and changed the tier lists. In this article, we will take a look at the best and worst Ranked champion picks for the Jungle in League of Legends.

We will give several examples of champions per tier, so you can decide for yourself which pick fits your play style and which jungler will give you the best chances of carrying your team to victory.

Tier List Explanation

Jungle Tier List
Riot Games

This tier list will examine some of the most-played League of Legends champions in the Jungle.

  • D-Tier: You should avoid playing these champions as much as possible.
  • C-Tier: Although they can be somewhat decent, you are better off with other picks.
  • B-Tier: Viable and reliable in most situations, you can manage rather decently.
  • A-Tier: Great options but lacking just slightly either in terms of damage or utility.
  • S-Tier: The best champions you can use to ensure you are always victorious.

NOTE: Although this tier list strives to be as objective as possible in terms of viability, you should not limit yourself to strictly adhere to this list, but rather experiment and see which champion feels fun to play with.

League of Legends 14.10: D-Tier Jungle Champions

Sylas
Sylas

Jungle Sylas has been in a bad place for quite a while now. It seems like he's hard-stuck in the D-Tier. He's performing way better in the mid-lane and we suggest opting for it if you main this champion.

PROS:

  • Versatile
  • Duelist

CONS:

  • Very short range
  • Predictable
  • High ban rate
Zed
Zed

Another champion jungler players should keep in the mid-lane. Not only that but Zed's high ban and pick rate will make it almost impossible for you to play him in the jungle.

PROS:

  • High burst
  • Decent jungle clears

CONS:

  • No sustain
  • No hard CC
  • Doesn't feel good in the jungle
Lee Sin

Lee Sin

With a low win rate and high ban rate, Lee Sin's glory days are long over. We hope Riot Games has something planned for him in the next few patches, aside from his VFX update.

PROS:

  • Versatile kit
  • Mobile
  • Good ganks

CONS:

  • Really weak if he falls behind

League of Legends 14.10: C-Tier Jungle Champions

Cho'Gath
Cho'Gath

Cho'Gath isn't a popular choice for LoL Ranked but the recent patch made the champion somewhat playable in the jungle. It's surely not a strong pick but the small buff in 14.10 gave players some options.

PROS:

  • Great CC

CONS:

  • Weak late game
  • Dependent on stacks
Sett

Sett

Similar to Cho'Gath, Sett isn't the champion we're used to seeing in the jungle. However, in patch 14.10 he received a buff to damage to monsters. This will surely make more League of Legends players pick him for this role but we're yet to see how well he will perform.

PROS:

  • Tanky
  • Good crowd control

CONS:

  • High cooldowns
  • Weaker late game
Bel'Veth

Bel'Veth

Bel'Veth used to be one of the strongest junglers in the game a few patches ago. However, things have changed. She's still a decent Ranked pick, due to her damage and mobility, but not as OP as she used to be.

PROS:

  • Decent damage and burst
  • Snowball potential

CONS:

  • You're basically throwing the game if you're behind
  • Dependent on True Form
Master Yi

Master Yi

Master Yi seems to be one of those classic League of Legends champion picks. The thing is, in this current meta he isn't as strong as he used to be - you'll actually need some skill to get kills and he's no longer a 'click and kill' champion. Despite his low win rate, Yi is still quite popular.

PROS:

  • High mobility
  • Easy to pick up
  • Huge carry potential
  • Great jungle clear

CONS:

  • High pick and ban rate
  • No CC

League of Legends 14.10: B-Tier Jungle Champions

Skarner
Skarner

Although the new adjustments will mostly impact Top lane Skarner, we're seeing some changes in the jungle role too. With all of the buffs introduced in League of Legends patch 14.10, Skarner is way weaker than he used to be, but he's still a decent choice in the right hands.

PROS:

  • Decent damage
  • Great scaling

CONS:

  • High ban rate
  • Long cooldowns
Evelynn

Evelynn

Evelynn is an amazing champion who's very underrated in Low Elo Ranked. She's sneaky and has a powerful charm, which allows her to snowball easily.

PROS:

  • Good burst
  • Snowball potential
  • Underrated by many

CONS:

  • Reliant on Demon Shade
  • Hard to position
Graves

Graves

Graves is a pretty decent Solo Queue pick, which you can rely on if you're good with the champion. He's got great damage and carry potential, thanks to his scaling and flexible builds.

PROS:

  • Lots of damage
  • Kiting
  • Duelist

CONS:

  • Weak in team fights
  • No CC

League of Legends 14.10: A-Tier Jungle Champions

Viego
Viego

LoL Patch 14.10 brought a small buff to mid-lane Viego, while jungle Viego is feeling a little weaker due to his itemization. Without the Crit on Kraken Slayer, he isn't as OP as he used to be, but he's still a decent choice for Ranked.

PROS:

  • Good in mid and late-game 1v1
  • Good CC

CONS:

  • Weak in the early game
  • Countered by anti-heal
Shaco

Shaco

Shaco is one of these LoL champions which can cause the opponent to rage quit. Witty, smart, and unexpected, he's a dangerous tool in the right hands. He's extremely powerful right now but there's a catch - with a whooping 35% ban rate there's a really low chance you'll actually get to play him.

PROS:

  • Great ganks
  • Fun outplays, annoying to play against

CONS:

  • Huge ban rate, high pick rate
  • You'll need to actually be good with the champion and have the right skills in order to NOT be a nuance to your team
  • Good vision counters him
Diana

Diana

A reliable choice both as a midlaner or a jungler. Diana's mobility allows for some amazing ganks and once you're on her radar it's hard to get away from her alive. She's the type of jungler who's all over the map, getting every kill possible and carrying the whole game.

PROS:

  • Mobility
  • Roaming
  • One combo and the enemy is a goner
  • Great in team fights

CONS:

  • No easy way out once you go all in
Teemo

Teemo

Teemo might not be performing well in the Top lane but he's a decent jungler. Effective placements of your shrooms can win a whole game.

PROS:

  • SHROOMS!

CONS:

  • Lacks damage if he falls behind
  • Needs a lot of setup to be impactful
Elise

Elise

She's a great ranked pick because she's underrated. A lot of people aren't used to playing against Elise so you can use this to your advantage, aside from her very powerful position in the current League of Legends meta.

PROS:

  • High burst
  • Great mobility
  • Strong early game

CONS:

  • Hard to master
  • Squishy
  • Weak late game

League of Legends 14.10: S-Tier Jungle Champions

Rek'Sai
Rek'Sai

Rek'Sai has been in the S Jungle Tier for a while now. She's a force to be reckoned with, with clean ganks and great damage. Don't sleep on this champion and make use of her while she's still OP!

PROS:

  • Perfect ganks
  • Good clear speed

CONS:

  • Unreliable CC
Brand

Brand

Brand is dominating both the mid-lane and the jungle! He's easy to play with and has insane damage. It will be a breeze to climb with this jungler.

PROS:

  • Amazing AoE damage
  • Easy to pick up and master

CONS:

  • Bad utility
  • Easily out-sustained
Briar

Briar

Briar is still the queen of the jungle, even after her nerf in patch 14.8. With insane damage and easy ganks, she's a menace on the Summoner's Rift!

PROS:

  • Amazing crowd control
  • Easy jungle clears

CONS:

  • High ban rate
Nocturne

Nocturne

Nocturne hasn't been out of the S+ tier since Season 14 started, but his ban rate has been growing. He's a classic jungler with one of the best ganks in LoL. Nocturne is a safe and solid choice in Ranked.

PROS:

  • One of the best ganks in LoL
  • Duelist

CONS:

  • Reliant on Darkness Form
Karthus

Karthus

Karthus is currently the jungler with the highest win rate in the game - 54%. With his AoE Slow and global pressure he's one of the best champion picks for Ranked in LoL Patch 14.10.

PROS:

  • Great AoE
  • Very useful in team fights

CONS:

  • Squishy
  • Mana-hungry
  • No crowd control
