Riot Games

Patch 14.11 brought lots of changes to the LoL meta and you might be wondering what is the next OP pick for solo queue. Since every patch brings a lot of changes to the meta, we will be taking a look at the best of the best when it comes to ADC champions so you can start climbing up the ranked ladder. The recent update buffed and nerfed quite a lot of LoL champions and items so things might look a little different.

We will give several examples of champions per tier, so you can decide for yourself which pick fits your play style and which ADC will give you the best chances of carrying your team to victory.

Given how much the meta can shake things up, you should pay attention to each patch as your favorite champion might be hit with a nerf or buff.

Tier List Explanation

This tier list will examine some of the most-played League of Legends champions in the ADC role.

  • D-Tier: You should avoid playing these champions as much as possible.
  • C-Tier: Although they can be somewhat decent, you are better off with other picks.
  • B-Tier: Viable and reliable in most situations, you can manage rather decently.
  • A-Tier: Great options but lacking just slightly either in terms of damage or utility.
  • S-Tier: The best champions you can use to ensure you are always victorious.

NOTE: Although this tier list strives to be as objective as possible in terms of viability, you should not limit yourself to strictly adhere to this list, but rather experiment and see which champion feels fun to play with.

League of Legends 14.11: D-Tier ADC Champions

Kalista

Kalista

While champions such as Ezreal and Smolder finally made it out of the D-Tier, Kalista is still hard-stuck. We won't be surprised if Riot nerfs her soon due to her dire state.

PROS

  • Great mobility
  • Amazing kiting

CONS

  • Hard to learn
  • Ult is dependent on the team
Aphelios

Aphelios

The 2024 Season in League of Legends started off poorly for Aphelios but Riot has been trying their best to make him a viable choice. He's still in an unstable place and very dependent on how good your skills are.

Ziggs

Ziggs

Another forgotten champion, which needs a little love from Riot to perform better on the Summoner's Rift.

League of Legends 14.11: C-Tier ADC Champions

Xayah

Xayah

Xayah has been a hit-or-miss champion for a while. As a champion, she's unstable in the LoL meta. She might feel a little weaker on the Summoner's Rift.

PROS:

  • AoE CC
  • Good in team fights
  • Decent scaling

CONS:

  • Full potential only with Rakan
  • Not that easy to pick up
Samira

Samira

Samira used to be one of the menaces in patch 14.10. However, in 14.11 she got hit by quite a lot of nerfs.

PROS:

  • Great in team fights
  • Huge snowball potential
  • Mobile

CONS:

  • Difficult to pick up and master
  • Weaker late game
  • You need to hit combos
  • Highest ADC ban rate
Swain

Swain

We're better off keeping Swain as a support, rather than an ADC, at least in patch 14.11.

League of Legends 14.11: B-Tier ADC Champions

Draven

Draven

Despite the small buff in the recent patch, Draven isn't performing as well as he used to. However, keep in mind he's still a pretty decent pick in the right hands!

PROS:

  • Snowball potential
  • Aggressive and fun

CONS:

  • Difficult to have a comeback if you're behind
Ezreal

Ezreal

Surprise! After being hard-stuck in the D-Tier of the ADC list, Ezreal is back. He's not in top shape but it's good to see him on the Summoner's Rift once again.

PROS

  • Long range
  • Hybrid damage

CONS

  • Weak AAs
  • Takes too much time to scale
Yasuo

Yasuo

The previous LoL patch introduced some serious changes to Yasuo. It seems like the days in which he used to bully every single lane are over but he's still a decent pick.

PROS:

  • Huge carry potential in low elo
  • Annoying lane bully
  • Dominates team fights

CONS:

  • High ban and pick rate
  • Low elo players don't play him well (huge feed potential)

  • AoE Damage

CONS:

  • Squishy
  • Dependent on gold and stacks
  • Quite weak
Sivir

Sivir

Sivir is gaining popularity which is good to see! She's at a 3% pick rate and a 0.5% ban rate. Give her a go in Ranked while she's still a decent ADC/

Tristana

Tristana

With her amazing burst, Tristana can make your opponents in bot lane rage quit. She's very fun to play and an always decent LoL champion pick.

PROS:

  • Strong mid-late game
  • Easy to pick up

CONS:

  • Squishy
  • Short range early on
Vayne

Vayne

Vayne is a great choice for both top and bot lane thanks to her insane damage. She's a hyper-carry if played well and needs only one item to start performing well.

PROS:

  • Duelist
  • Peels herself well

CONS:

  • Slow farming
  • Weak early game
Zeri

Zeri

Riot had good intentions with Zeri but she's always lacking a little something. She's doing a little better in the current LoL meta but let's see how things play out for her.

  • Great wave clear

CONS:

Kog'Maw

Kog'Maw

Kog'Maw hasn't been this powerful in a while. Make use of his current state in LoL patch 14.11 for a fun time.

Varus

Varus

It seems like we haven't seen Varus in the top tiers in some time. He's quite versatile, so he can take down tanks with on-hit damage or squishys with lethality.
