LoL 14.17 ADC Tier List: Best Ranked Bot Lane Champ Picks

Patch 14.17 brought a buff to Caitlyn, making her even more OP than what she used to be thanks to her huge range and high damage. 

PROS:

• Great poke

CONS:

• Difficult early game

Miss Fortune is still going strong, being one of the best picks for ADC in LoL. She even got a VFX update in patch 14.17 and you should definitely check it out, along with her new skin Battle Queen MF.

PROS:

• Great poke
• Lane bully
• Strong burst

CONS:

• Squishy

Jhin is as solid, versatile, and reliable as ever. He's a go-to champion for many League of Legends players and we can see why - some serious damage and crowd control abilities make winning easy for him to the Summoner's Rift.

PROS:

• Great scaling
• Versatile kit
• Amazing range and AD

CONS:

• Difficult to master
• Low attack speed

Thanks to her high burst, mobility, and hybrid playstyle, Kai'Sa is still one of the best champion picks in Ranked.

PROS:

• High burst and DPS
• Great scaling

CONS:

• Reliant on items
• Not easy to play (but not super hard either)

Varus was in a bad state in the previous patch but we can see him raising all the way up to the S-Tier after his buff in patch 14.17.

PROS: 

• Adequate damage and tower pushing
• Good tank killer

CONS: 

• Very squishy
• Can struggle against heavy engage comps

While Varus is gaining positions, Ashe is dropping to A-Tier. The nerf to her base health isn't that much of a big deal but you can feel it, especially in the early laneing phase.

PROS:

• Strong crowd control and vision
• Global Ult

CONS:

• Low Burst

Seraphine is keeping her A tier spot among the ADCs and we love seeing how stable she is in the Bot lane. She might be losing some positions due to her nerf in the recent LoL patch but it's only concerning her shield so supports will be feeling it the most. Seraphine is still a versatile and stable ADC pick for Ranked.

• Versatile kit
• Strong Utility
• Heal and shield
• Low pick and ban rate

CONS:

• Squishy

Jinx dominated most of Season 14 but she's finally taking a step back. She's still amazing, especially in the late game, but there are many ADCs who crush her in bot lane.

PROS:

• Easy to play and master
• Huge range
• Global ULT

CONS:

• Squishy
• Reliant on items
• High pick and ban rate

After a bad start, Smolder is finally doing well in the LoL meta. It took Riot quite a lot of time, trial, and error to get him here, so enjoy the decent performance he has while it lasts!

PROS:

• AoE Damage

CONS:

• Squishy
• Dependent on gold and stacks

Kog'Maw is still having his very strong moments, because of his mixed damage and long range. He seems to be a reliable ADC choice in the current meta, just not as OP as the other S-tier champs. 

PROS:

• Hypercarry potential
• Strong late game
• Good range

CONS:

• Weak early game
• No mobility
• Relies on the team

Strong crowd control and good damage make Nilah a great choice for Ranked. She can heal and shield herself and her teammates, which makes her way more sustainable in lane.

PROS:

• Hypercarry
• Strong in team fights
• A lot of players in Low Elo don't know how to counter her

CONS:

• Squishy
• Vulnerable to CC
• Hard to master

We love seeing Lucian perform much better since his adjustment in LoL patch 14.16. He's offering mobility and stable damage. 

PROS:

• Amazing duelist
• Very mobile

CONS:

• Short range

Draven is keeping his spot in the A-tier from the last two patches. There's not much to discuss here as he's finally well-balanced without being too OP or useless.

PROS:

• Snowball potential
• Aggressive and fun

CONS:

• Difficult to have a comeback if you're behind

Ziggs is doing much better in LoL Patch 14.17 thanks to his high poke and AoE damage. This choice might not be as popular, but it's a decent one.

PROS:

• Great late game
• Amazing zoning

CONS:

• Squishy
• Mana hungry

Ezreal was doing much better in the last League of Legends patch but now we're dropping him down to B-Tier due to the nerf to his base AD.

PROS: 

• Long range
• Hybrid damage

CONS: 

• Weak AAs
• Takes too much time to scale

Swain has been in the B-tier since the last patch and it seems like he's here to stay. He's got sustain, he's got crowd control, and he's a surprising Ranked pick but definitely not a champ that could carry easily. 

PROS:

• Lane bully
• Versatile
• Insane AoE

CONS:

• Mana issues
• Squishy

Samira is going up a tier in this League of Legends patch. She's still in an unstable state and quite reliant on her support and team but she's also doing a little better. Honestly, it's all about skill with this one.

PROS:

• Great in team fights
• Huge snowball potential
• Mobile

CONS:

• Difficult to pick up and master
• Weaker late game
• You need to hit combos
• Highest ADC ban rate

Similar to Swain, Zeri is keeping her B-list spot. She's very mobile and has AoE damage potential. Zeri is also a pro at dodging abilities. The downside? Her overall impact on the game has been inconsistent and she's difficult to pick up as a champion.

• Easily dodges abilities
• AoE damage

CONS:

• Very hard to pick up and master
• Squishy
• Weak early game

ADC Yasuo is still a decent pick for Ranked if you really wanna play this champion. However, playing him in mid-lane is always the optimal choice. You'll definitely perform better there. 

PROS:

• Huge carry potential in low elo
• Annoying lane bully
• Dominates team fights

CONS:

• High ban and pick rate
• Low elo players don't play him well (huge feed potential)

Vayne had her moment in the previous League of Legends patch but now we're putting her in C-Tier. She might have good mobility and damage but she's definitely not a great choice in the current meta.

PROS:

• Great carry potential
• Spykes after just one item
• Scales very well

CONS:

• Bad wave clear
• Very dependent on the support early on

Sivir is getting weaker with each patch. This time we find her in the C-Tier. There's a lot more we can want from her, aside from her decent shield which also gives the team movement speed. 

PROS:

• Shield
• Good wave clear

CONS:

• Squishy
• Short range

Aphelios is stuck in the C-Tier for now. He's not offering anything special in the current patch, so keep him on the back burner.

PROS:

• AoE damage
• Great duelist

CONS:

• Difficult to play
• No mobility

Unfortunately, this time around Xayah is one of the weakest links among ADCs. She has been in a rough place for a while now and we wonder if Riot will help her perform better soon. 

Trsitana is struggling to find her place in the LoL meta. Look for more reliable options elsewhere.

There's no good reason to pick up Kalista in any League of Legends game - she\s difficult to play and has NO carry potential. As we mentioned in the previous patch, Kalista is turning into one of those forgotten League of Legends champions.
