LoL LEC Season 2024 All Teams and Rosters That Will Compete

With the League of Legends 2023 World Championship now over, almost every competitive team is getting roster changes, players leaving one organization to go to another, and new coaches appearing on the Esports stage all in preparation for Season 2024. 

We will be taking a look at all of the changes coming to the LEC teams as they start practicing for Season 14. This year the LEC (League of Legends EMEA Championship) scene was mostly dominated by G2 Esports as they seemed unstoppable in almost all three of the splits, with them only dropping the Spring Split Title for 2023. 

Hopefully, things will change this time around in 2024 with new contenders trying to dethrone G2 Esports' dominance in the region. 10 teams will be competing in the upcoming season in the LEC so let's take a look at the new rosters.

BDS Roster for Season 2024 

Let's start with the underdogs Team BDS who despite all odds, became a fan favorite for their cheerful energy and fun antics during their intros during the Regular Season.

Unfortunately, it seems that Crownie will not be competing this year so their ADC spot is yet to be filled. Their coach GotoOne was replaced by Striker so hopefully these changes will warrant an even stronger team.

Their best form was during the Spring Split as they were the only team to take the title from G2 Esports as one of the best-performing teams during that split, and they even were able to qualify for the World Championship this year, fighting tooth and nail giving their all.

XL Roster for Season 2024

Excel Esports has not been looking good this year, and despite getting very close to the Summer Playoffs title, the team was unable to win it all, but this year the roster is getting a new mid laner, Jackies, and a new support player, Ignar.

With Odoamne being crowned one of the best top laners in the region, surely he will prove to all of the naysayers why he has been on the scene for 10 years already.

Fnatic Roster for Season 2024

This team has always been G2 Esports' biggest rival, but in recent years there have been some setbacks stopping the team from showing off why it is one of the best-performing organizations. This year FNC had its ups and downs, but during the Summer Split, it showed great potential and was able to recover to its former glory.

For Season 2024, their support player Trymbi is being swapped for Jun with the coach still not officially declared so let us see if Jun will be able to take the role of being the shot-caller for the team.

G2 Esports Roster for Season 2024

With no surprise to anyone, the roster will remain the same as the new rookie Yike showed an incredible performance during the entire year as a lot of pressure was being put on him to fill Jankos' shoes. Despite the flop at the World Championship this year, the team remained consistent throughout the entire Regular Season of the LEC.

We are absolutely looking forward to seeing this team shine once again and defend their title of one of the best Western teams ever to compete in the competitive scene. 

Team Heretics Roster for Season 2024

One of the most exciting roster changes for the upcoming season as Team Heretics was struggling to find good enough synergy with all of its players. Jankos was certainly the highlight, showing why he is one of the best Western junglers League of Legends has ever seen.

Now his former teammates from G2 Esports are joining him once more with Wunder returning to the top lane and Perkz in the mid lane. Kaiser is also taking Mersa's place so this team might be a top contender to G2's region dominance. 

Karmine Corp Roster for Season 2024

The new kid on the block, looking to bring some heat to the scene. The French Masters team has finally set foot on the LEC stage with notable players like Bo, Upset, and Targamas looking to further boost the organization into competitive relevancy.

We are very excited to see how this team will perform, Bo previously found some difficulties in Team Vitality to bring out his best form, and Upset might finally be able to claim the title of being one of the best ADCs in the LEC. Also, YamatoCannon is returning as a coach so he might be able to bring out the best in all of the players.

MAD Lions Roster for Season 2024

MAD is also seeking some drastic changes to their roster, with the top laner being replaced by Myrwn, mid laner by Fresskowy, and the bot laners by Supa and Alvaro. Even their coach is being swapped with Melzhet so we are in for a treat to see if this new roster will be able to perform better in the upcoming season.

This team showed a lot of promise this year, as Elyoya was phenomenal as a jungler so let us see if he will be able to shine even brighter with a completely new team. The team was also able to win the LEC 2023 Spring Title with a remarkable reverse sweep against BDS.

SK Gaming Roster for Season 2024

This team has been hit or miss during the regular season as it neither showed too many weaknesses nor blind spots, but it struggled to keep up with the other teams. Hopefully, with their new jungler Isma, and mid laner Nisqy, they will be able to climb up the competitive ladder and start performing better.

We will be on the lookout as the potential this team has is not to be underestimated, specifically with Irrelevant showing a good performance in the top lane overall.

Team Vitality Roster for Season 2024

One of the more controversial teams this year, having a star roster of incredible players that seemingly were unable to synchronize and get on the same page. Bo is being replaced by Daglas, Perkz by Vetheo, Upset by Carrzy, and Kaiser by Hylissang. It looks like this bot lane duo enjoyed playing together so let's see if they will make it work this time as well.

Vitality was unable to show up for the entire Regular Season as it looked like all 5 of the players were playing a different game, so hopefully with these changes, the team can find common ground and make up for its performance this time around.

Rogue Roster for Season 2024

Another team that struggled to find its identity, but let us see if they will be able to reclaim their rightful spot in the LEC. Malrang is being replaced by Markoon, and Advienne by Zoelys. If this team finds its footing for the upcoming season we might see a very exciting competitive scene in Europe. The roster also performed under the KOI banner, but it looks like the organization is returning to its roots as Rogue.

Rogue as a team has been enable to cause major upsets in League of Legends so we will be on the lookout once the season starts as this organization has proved time and time again they are not to be underestimated once they find their mojo.

Summary

All in all, the LEC will be absolutely fantastic in Season 2024 as the new map changes, and item changes will definitely shift the meta, resulting in even longer games and that means even more content for competitive League of Legends fans. 

All 10 of the teams show great potential so hopefully, we will have very close games this time around. Will G2 Esports finally have a worthy opponent in the upcoming Winter Split or will they cruise through the other teams once more? Will Team Heretics finally find their place in the LEC and restore faith in the organization? Will Fnatic finally be able to become the dominant team it once was?
