League of Legends is about to launch the brand new PvE mode, Swarm, on July 17, 2024. Well, maybe you're reading this article when the adventure has already begun! Swarm will bring lots of adventures to the Anima Squad Event universe. LoL players can team up to defend humanity and Final City from waves of alien Primordians. One of the most exciting things about Swarm is the lineup of playable League of Legends champions, known as Fighters, each offering unique abilities and playstyles. Here’s a closer look at the Fighters you can control in this thrilling new mode:
Table of Contents
Battle Cat Jinx
Jinx is a beloved explosive marksman, known for her high damage output and mobility.
Jinx is a one-cat demolitions squad, her natural destructive impulses turned toward more productive ends: fighting off the Primordians. She's not really a soldier, doesn't seem to care about humanity's cause, and doesn't follow orders -- but there's no arguing with Jinx's results.

Battle Dove Seraphine
Seraphine is a new addition to Anima Squad. Her amazing crowd control makes her an important part of any team, providing healing, buffs, and debuffs to keep her allies alive.
Seraphine was Anima Squad's comms officer, the "girl in the chair"—until she became the first Battle Dove, using her naturally sensitive hearing to operate a new AnimaTech suit that weaponizes sound waves to rock the battlefield! When she intercepts a strange distress call, Seraphine gets her first mission: find the source, and lead a team to the rescue.

Battle Lion Leona
Another new support addition to this skin line. Her strong defensive capabilities and crowd-control skills make her an ideal tanky fighter.
Battle Bear Illaoi
Illaoi has massive area-of-effect attacks, which will help with controlling large mobs of enemies.

Primordian Briar
Bria is a part of the Primordians but players will be able to pick her up in Swarm.
Battle Wolf Yasuo
Yasuo will cut through enemies with ease. His ability to dash and deal critical damage will be invaluable in both offensive and defensive situations.

Battle Bunny Prime Riven
Riven will bring some powerful melee attacks and mobility to your Swarm gameplay.
Riven volunteered for what would eventually become Anima Squad after losing many comrades in the early days of the Primordian invasion. A string of victories later, she is famous: a war hero looked up to by all. ...So why has she suddenly vanished when the world needs her most?

Battle Bunny Aurora
We'll get to try out the brand new League of Legends champion Aurora in Swarm. Check out her abilities here.
As Anima Squad's sole research specialist, Aurora uses her understanding of the Primordians (and PhD in bioengineering) to translate and adapt Primordian technology. While her work has led to incredible advancements in Anima Squad's equipment, her true passion is helping the world understand Primordians as she does.

Battle Bat Xayah
Xayah might be without Rakan in this one but her feathers are just as deadly. She's great with dealing damage from a distance while evading enemy strikes.
Bat Squad's edgy hotshot Xayah knows that sometimes you have to strike first and hard to make a statement. Hailing from an attempted settlement outside Final City that was destroyed, Xayah's grudge against the Primordians is deeply personal. Between battles, she uses her stealth training to avoid Seraphine prying about who the guy she's always texting is.
