Commentary and Takeaways

Yone

Usually in the first 5 places, among the most played LoL champions, we see ADC-s. However, in patch 14.20 Yone ranks 4th. The Critical Strike Damage of his Q got buffed in this patch so it's understandable why so many players want to pick him. The bad news is that his OP status makes him one of the most banned champions.

Kai'Sa

This time around Kai'Sa steals the 'most picked' title from Jhin. He occupied the first place for quite a long time but things are changing. We're not surprised though, as Kai'Sa's hybrid damage and amazing mobility are amazing on the Summoner's Rift.

Jhin

As we mentioned, Jhin used to top the 'most played' list in League of Legends. A nerf to his base stats and ult made him less desirable. 

Lee Sin

Lee Sin got his base attack damage buffed in LoL Patch 14.20, boosting the interest in him. He's currently more popular than Viego and the two of them are the only junglers among the most popular champions.

LeBlanc

LeBlanc is among the most banned once again. Seems like her range, burst, and great early-game potential are too much for some LoL players to handle.

Shaco

Shaco is keeping his top spot among the most banned champions. We lost count of the patches in which he stole that title. Difficult to play against and offering some great outplay potential, Shaco seem to scare a lot of players.
