Two Teams Were Eliminated
TL faced off GAM today in a tight match, but GAM were able to take over in the third game thus ending the competitive season of TL for 2023, leaving the score 2-1 for GAM. LCS' 3rd seat were defeated after a nail-biting final game as the underdogs, VCS' 1st seed were able to secure victory with a convincing game three performance.
After having valiantly fought through the Qualifying Series and Play-Ins, BDS were eliminated after today's match against DK with a score of 2-0 for DK. BDS were not able to put up much of a fight as the LEC's 4th seed was dominated by LCK's 4th seed.
With two Western teams out of the Championship, the stakes are only getting higher as more and more pressure is building up towards the second part of the League of Legends World Championship 2023 Swiss Stage.
