Following a very convincing and exciting performance by T1 at the League of Legends 2023 World Championship, they defeated WBG in a clean 3-0 Bo5 series. All three of the games showed great skills from the LCK favorites as they were able to claim the trophy for the fourth time.

Zeus, Oner, Faker, Gumayusi, and Keria all showed incredible talent and skills during the entire tournament. Claiming victory in South Korea was destiny for the star team, with the Unkillable Demon King Faker being one of the players the LoL eSports scene has ever seen.

As of now, the players are deciding between the following champions:

  • Zeus: Jayce or Yone
  • Oner: Lee Sin
  • Faker: Hasn’t thought about it, but wants to choose a skin fans can enjoy.
  • Gumaysi: Jinx
  • Keria: Bard or Renata

A lot of fans are hoping for a Jayce skin, as it has been a long time coming for the champion to receive representation in the form of a World Championship skin. Zeus himself shared that Jayce seems like the right choice, but deep down in his heart, he would like a Yone skin as the player has become synonymous with this exact champion.

Oner and Gumayusi both seem decided on their picks, whereas Faker is a man of the people, letting the community decide instead of him. Most likely his Ahri pick in the first game of the series will be reason enough for the champion to be commemorated in T1 attire.

Keria has always wanted a Lux skin, however, as per Riot Games' guidelines, the champion must have been picked in the tournament, so Keria's other options are either Bard or Renata. Either way, both of these champions are a great way to showcase the impact the T1 support had in all of the matches in the World Championship.

World Championship skins are usually released the following year as Riot Games has the final say in regard to which champion is eligible to receive a skin. Typically, the skins are released 6-8 months after the League of Legends World Championship, so we will, unfortunately, have to wait a bit before we appreciate the talented pro players and Riot Games' tribute to their unwavering will and dedication to the game.
