Manor Lords is a city-building simulation that has aspects of real-time strategy. You will have to grow your settlement into a city that its locals can be proud of and defend it from attack when necessary. You are in charge of all trade and construction so make sure you know what you are doing. As Slavic Magic has worked hard on the historical accuracy of Manor Lords, there will be no simple way to create anything.
As with everything else you will want to craft, there are a few things you are going to have to grow or gather. Manor Lords doesn't always tell you exactly what you will need but that is where we come in. You will have to provide every ingredient and make sure your villagers can find or grow everything you need.

How to Make Ale in Manor Lords
For the first step in making ale in Manor Lords, you will need a farmhouse and a field ready for planting. We recommend having a few fields ready and using crop rotation every year to make sure you get the best results possible. Plant some barley and wait until the end of the year so your villagers can harvest the crop. Don’t forget to assign workers to the farmhouse or nothing will happen.
While you wait for the barley to grow, you should build a malthouse nearby. This will convert your harvested barley into malt and get you one step closer to treating your villagers to some nice ale after a hard day's work.

Build one or more Brewery Extensions on any level 2 burgage plots in Manor Lords. You can do this the same way you build chicken coups or vegetable gardens. The Brewery Extension will cost you 5 planks and 5 regional wealth but will turn the family of the house into artisan brewers. When you have the required malt, your brewers will turn it into ale and ship it to the tavern for the whole village to enjoy.
How to Buy Ale in Manor Lords
There is another way to get your villagers drunk if you have built up enough regional wealth. You could simply establish a trade route by building a trading post. Assign some villagers to become traders.

Select how much ale you want to supply your tavern with and your villagers will take care of the rest. You could always buy the ingredients needed to make the ale and save yourself some money but you will still need to have the required buildings.
Nothing makes the people happier than giving them a nice alcoholic drink at the end of the working day. Now you know how to do that you are one step closer to being the best lord you can be. I hope you found this helpful.
