Marvel Rivals: More Characters Leaked After the Release of the First Trailer & Spoilers for the Character Abilities 

Marvel Games just announced their newest project Marvel Rivals. Their new collaboration with NetEase will be a superhero team-based third-person shooter. Marvel Rivals will feature maps that will show some well-known places from the Marvel Universe and will include some of our favorite superheroes and supervillains. We already know all 18 of the playable Marvel characters that will be featured in the game.

However, as soon as the Marvel Rivals trailer dropped, leaks about more unreleased superheroes that will be later added to the game surfaced on the internet. All Confirmed Characters in Marvel Rivals 

Marvel Games revealed that the game will initially include 18 of the most popular superheroes and supervillains from the Marvel Universe. While some characters were already speculated by fans, we now have the full list of heroes that will be in Marvel Rivals:

Leaked Upcoming Superheroes That Will Be Added to Marvel Rivals

The trailer for Marvel Rivals revealed which popular Marvel heroes and villains will be joining the battlefield. While 18 playable characters is a reasonable number for the beginning of the game, we were surprised to see some popular names omitted. It's worth noting that it is the closed alpha version of Marvel Rivals, available in May 2024, that will feature these 18 characters. However, the developers have confirmed that additional content and characters will be added for the official launch of the game.

Following the initial announcement of Marvel Rivals, numerous leaks began to circulate online, revealing details about the gameplay, characters, and their designs. Surprisingly, many of these leaks proved to be accurate, giving us even more reason to trust the new spoilers we've received.

Many sources have confirmed that Moon Knight will be one of the future additions to Marvel Rivals. The Editor-in-Chief of The Streamr shared on X that he had early access to the game and saw Moon Knight in a previous build, with his assets available.

Another Marvel superhero rumored to be added soon is Thor. It wouldn't surprise anyone to see the God of Thunder join the hero battles, as he has always been a fan favorite.

Considering his main role in the plot of Marvel Rivals, Doctor Doom seems like an obvious choice for a playable character. Although we didn't see him in the trailer, some sources, including articles from The Streamr, claim that he will also be added after the game launches.

Marvel Rivals: Character Abilities Revealed

As mentioned earlier, The Streamr's team appears to have had early access to the game, or at least some insider information about it. In one of their articles, they shared the following information about some of the characters we saw in the Marvel Rivals trailer, revealing their abilities:

• Rocket is a support
• Mantis can put enemies to sleep
• Luna Snow can freeze enemies
• Loki can produce illusions and go invisible
