Today, developer Nuverse and Second Dinner released a massive update for Marvel Snap that introduces highly-requested features like the ability to review destroyed cards and take back accidental end-turn clicks. The patch also continues Marvel Snap's visual and audio polish passes on older cards while fixing bugs. General Updates

Among the most exciting changes are the new graveyard feature and the ability to undo your end-turn!

Graveyard

The new Graveyard feature allows players to tap on their own or their opponent's avatar to view all destroyed or discarded cards so far in the match.

Undo End Turn

Players can now undo accidental end-turn actions before the opponent finalizes their turn.

Custom Border

Custom Border added to mix and match your owned variant art, borders and finishes into a custom stylish combo for your cards. Unlocks after completing 3 Infinity Splits.

Gold Pass

Gold Pass is introduced for purchase to gain bonus gold rewards each day for the next 30 days to help accelerate collection progression.

VFX added to the following older cards:

  • Deadpool
  • Psylocke
  • Legion
  • Darkhawk
  • Moon Girl

Updated visuals provide more eye candy and a satisfying impact when playing these fan-favorite characters.


Audio

Sound effects and voice lines added for:

  • Psylocke
  • Legion

  • Moon Girl

This update expands the growing library of iconic Marvel character voiceover lines and ability SFX in Marvel Snap.

Balance Updates

Elsa Bloodstone

  • [Old] 2/3 - After you play a card here, give it +2 Power if your side is full.
  • [New] 3/3 - Each card you play to fill your side of a location gains +2 Power.

Mantis

  • [Old] 2/3 - On Reveal: If your opponent played any cards here this turn, draw a card from their deck.
  • [New] 2/2 - On Reveal: If your opponent played any cards here this turn, copy one of them into your hand.

Cable

  • [Old] 3/4 - On Reveal: Draw a card from your opponent’s deck.
  • [Change] 3/4 -> 2/3

Time Stone

  • [Old] On Reveal: +1 Energy next turn. Draw a card.
  • [New] On Reveal: Draw a card and give it -1 Cost.

M'Baku

  • [Old] 1/2 - If this is in your deck at the end of the game, it jumps to a location.
  • [New] 1/2 - At the end of the game, this jumps from your deck to your lowest-power location.

Yondu

  • [Old] 1/2 - On Reveal: Destroy the top card of your opponent's deck.
  • [New] 1/2 - On Reveal: Destroy the lowest-cost card in your opponent's deck.

Leech

  • [Old] 5/3 - At the start of turn 6, remove all abilities from cards in your opponent’s hand.
  • [New] 5/3 - On Reveal: Remove the text from each card with an On Reveal ability in your opponent's hand.

The Leech update is aimed at balancing powerful cards like Shang Chi and Legion, which could often dominate the game at the end. This change is significant because it aims to maintain the fun factor in video games.

Additionally, Elsa Bloodstone is making a comeback with a boost to her previous abilities. Now, she will enhance the final card in all your locations, not just where she is placed.

Card Logic Fixes in 25.x

  • Fixed Agatha Harkness incorrectly reducing turn timers after being discarded from the hand.
  • Omega Red now properly rechecks power values at the end of the match instead of becoming outdated.
  • Absorbing Man correctly copies the current Nico Minoru spell rather than her original card text.

VFX & SFX Fixes in 25.x

  • Supergiant VFX is no longer active after their ability gets disabled.
  • Nico Minoru's VFX errors were fixed when returning her to hand and replaying.
  • Scaled Nico's spell VFX correctly for when she returns to hand.
  • Removed incorrect +2 energy VFX popping for X-23.
  • Echo VFX no longer triggers from hovering your cards over her specific location.
  • Cosmo VFX now updates appropriately if he gets moved to a new location.
  • Fixed sound effect failure bug occurring with Djinns granted by Noor Dimension.

Existing Known Issues Fixed

  • Albums are sometimes displayed as locked after a client upgrade, now resolved by relaunching the app.
  • A visual bug causing crashes from Spider-Ham VFX.
  • Mystery card text not translated into all languages.
  • Some visual glitches when upgrading post-match.
  • The deck editor button is unresponsive on the side making editing decks difficult.
  • Cards from Mind Stone briefly flicker in hand when played.
  • Cache preview images fail to load on the main menu.
  • Infinity split prompt text overflowing out of frame in Japanese.
  • Selected deck out of focus when entering deck selection menu.
