If you have a collectors' heart and you're the type of gamer who strives for 100% completion and earning all rewards and achievements, this guide will save you a lot of trouble. In Metaphor: ReFantazio, certain tasks and achievements can only be completed on a given day. Let's discuss all the missable features and side quests with deadlines you'll encounter.

Metaphor: ReFantazio - All Missables

Some features like increasing follower Bonds and ranking up Archetypes are missable if you don't complete the task by the end of the day - but you have the chance to revisit it next month. Several others are entirely missable and you won't be able to complete them unless you boot up a New Game Plus. For your convenience, we've listed all of them in this guide.

All Missable Gold Beetles

There are a total of 49 Gold Beetles in Metaphor: ReFantazio, but three of them are missable. If you get all of them, you'll be rewarded a trophy! Here are the three missable Gold Beetles and their locations.

Northern Border Fort Gold Beetle

• Date: 06/05 
• Location: Mountain Forest Camp at Northern Border Fort
• How to Get: You'll find the beetle next to a tree just behind Stohl; take it before leaving the area, as you won't be able to return.

Dental Distress Side Quest Gold Beetle

• Deadline: 08/09
• Location: Seabreeze Street, Port Brilehaven
• How to Get: After completing the side quest Dental Distresss, talk to the Sullen Man on Seabreeze Street in Port Brilehaven before the deadline to get the beetle.

Ancient Eldan Sanctum Gold Beetle

• Date: 09/24
• Location: Plaza of Light in the Ancient Eldan Sanctum
• How to Get: You'll find the beetle behind a ruined wooden house, next to a tree; take it before leaving the area, as you won't be able to return.

The Magical Future Missable Book

There is one missable book in Metaphor: ReFantazio, and if you find it and read all of them, you'll get an achievement! Here is how to find the missable book:

• Date: Between 7/23 and 8/13
• Location: Angler's Inn Square in Port Brilehaven
• How to Get: After accepting the Infiltrate the Charadrius main story mission on 7/23, talk to Julian in Angler's Inn Square. Do so before the deadline; otherwise, he won't give it to you after.
