Many Archetypes in Metaphor: ReFantazio are designed to focus on learning spells, but if you equip Igniters, you'll be able to get even more of them than you might think. Yes, Igniters might seem useless when you already have Archetypes, but this isn't really the case.
They can work as both supportive and offensive items, and they are used to gain access to spells by simply equipping them to your character. In this guide, we'll show you how to learn the Mage Omniscience by using the Seraphic Igniter in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Metaphor: ReFantazio How To Get Mage Omniscience
To gain access to the Mage Omniscience, you need to get the Seraphic Igniter first, as this is the item that provides the skill. To begin with, you'll need to unlock Brigitta as a Follower. This can be done by reaching Grand Trad and ranking up her Bond. Once you manage to get her to Rank 7, you'll get the perk called Igniter Connoisseur. This will allow you to see all the rare Igniters in her magic shop.
Once you have obtained this benefit, go to the Igniter shop and get the Seraphic Igniter. However, keep in mind that it isn't free; you need to use 792,000 of your hard-earned Reeve, but it's definitely worth it. Now that you have the item, simply equip it to any member of your squad, and they will be able to use the Mage Omniscience. This skill deals Heavy Almighty damage to all enemies and grants 60 MP.
Metaphor: ReFantazio Is The Mage Omniscience Good
Many players consider the Seraphic Igniter to be too expensive, especially when you're in the early stages of the game. However, Almighty damage is a very good option, as it can ignore every resistance that your opponent might have. Unfortunately, it can often miss out on weaknesses and Critical Hits, which makes the Megidola a much better choice. It's also quite cheap, and it will only take 20 MP.
If you don't have access to it yet, you can learn it by the Warlord Archetype, which is the last one in the Commander Lineage. Additionally, it's also a Synthesis skill for other Archetypes in the same Lineage.
