Monster Hunter Now fans are in for an action-packed January. Niantic has announced a full lineup of in-game events to kick off 2024. Qualily's Special Quests

The events start on January 12th until January 18th, this recurring event brings hunters together to take on unique challenges and earn rare rewards.

• By hunting the selected monsters, players can get crafting materials like Dragonite Ore and Carpenterbugs.
• Zenny and Monster Bone+ will also be up for grabs.
• To participate, hunters will need to be HR 11 or higher.

Descent of the Azure King

The following week brings the brand new Descent of the Azure King event. Starting on January 15th until the 21st, this special event marks the first appearance of the formidable Azure Rathalos.

• In addition to enhanced spawn rates for Azure Rathalos and standard Rathalos, hunters can also earn special medals for completing limited-time quests.
• Hunters must reach chapter 13 and unlock standard Rathalos hunts to trigger Azure Rathalos spawns.
• During the weekend portion (January 19-21), both monsters will appear more frequently in forest habitats.
• As usual, an HR 11 minimum is required.

Banbaro & Radobaan Week

Rounding out the month is Banbaro & Radobaan Week. Running January 22-28, this event boosts spawn rates for the two titular Brute Wyverns.

• Banbaro will show up more often in swamp habitats, while Radobaan haunts the deserts.
• Both will be prime targets for HR 11+ hunters looking to test their skills and build up their supplies.
