The Mace is the first weapon that has been added in Minecraft in years. It is very unique and the way you use it to fight makes it stand out from the rest of the Minecraft artillery. If you want to make your Mace even stronger it can actually be enchanted in three ways: Density, Breach, Wind Burst.

The Mace is a melee weapon that is used to send enemies away. To use the Mace you have to fall onto an enemy and the longer you fall the bigger your damage is going to be. Landing an attack with the Mace will make a knockback effect to all nearby mobs and will negate all of the damage you would have taken from the fall. however, be careful. If you fall but don't land the attack, you will take the full fall damage.

The Mace is a hard-to-get weapon with outstanding damage. All you need is two new crafting materials that are hard to equip: a breeze rod and a Heavy Core. Here is how you can secure those items:

  • Breeze Rod - You can obtain a breeze rod by defeating the new enemy mob the Breeze. Eliminate it and wait for it to drop some loot that usually includes a breeze rod.
  • Heavy Core - Heavy Core can only be obtained from the Trial Chambers Vaults. It is available only in the Omnious version of the Chambers. To unlock a Vault block you will need to acquire a Trial Key. In other words, you have to successfully pass the challenges of the Trial Chambers, find a key, survive the intense fights, and hope that the Vault will grant you a Heavy Core once you open it.
