Minecraft released a new add-on to their SpongeBob DLC on August 20, 2024, and added new mobs, furniture, blocks and vehicles to your game. The add-on is available in the Minecraft Marketplace for 1340 Minecraft coins.

SpongeBob DLC for Minecraft Drops New Add-On
Minecraft's SpongeBob DLC was released on July 26, 2022. Since then, it's been updated twice, constantly adding more content and immersing you deeper into Bikini Bottom.
The newest update to the DLC lets you meet new characters, craft new furniture, sport new drip, drive around in brand-new vehicles, and more. Let's look at what the add-on brings to your Minecraft world.
SpongeBob Add-On: New Characters
As you roam around the depths of Bikini Bottom, you may meet SpongeBob, Patrick Star, Squidward, Sandy Cheeks, Mr. Krabs, and even Gary.
The characters of the show can give you missions that unlock building plans and much more, and that's a few hours of brand-new fun gameplay for you to enjoy. There are 13 characters in total, and they all help you unlock something in your world.
SpongeBob Add-On: New Furniture
Check out all that! From new building blocks to decorations, the DLC offers over 200+ craftable pieces of furniture, all Bikini Bottom themed.
And in case your builds feel a bit out of place, or you feel like a fish out of the ocean - Minecraft added a whole new biome for you and your aquatic friends to explore and settle in.

SpongeBob Add-On: New Mobs
If you thought it's all peace and quiet down in Bikini Bottom - you're wrong. The DLC adds new mobs and exciting plotlines that lead you to them.
You'll face off infamous antagonists like The Flying Dutchman, Doodlebob and Plankton; and your victories will reward you generously.
SpongeBob Add-On: New Cosmetics
A whole 10 new Character Creator items are up for grabs! One of them is this iconic Imaaaagination Hat that you can snatch from the Dressing Room for free.
