Mobile Legends: Suyou Guide
Moonton

Suyou is the newest Assassin/Fighter character to be added to MLBB, and he is currently one of the best champions to solo climb within the game. His ability to go in, slaughter his enemies, and continue dishing out damage is a great addition to any team. Besides, he simply looks cool doing anything.

This guide will teach you everything you need to know about playing Suyou so that you can easily climb with him.

Suyou Skills

Suyou is a unique character who can switch between the Assassin and Fighter roles depending on how he uses his skills. Like most champions, he has one passive and three skills; however, the unique thing about Suyou’s skills is that they have two different modes.

Each of his skills can either be tapped for one effect or held down for another; this brings way more depth to Suyou as a character and allows him to excel in various scenarios.

Transient Immortal (Buff)

Transient Immortal (Buff)

  • Tap-casting any skill will put Suyou in his Mortal form, granting him 40 Movement Speed and decreasing the interval between Basic Attacks.
  • Hold-casting any skill will put Suyou in his Immortal form, increasing the damage of Basic Attacks to 125% and granting him a 20% Damage Reduction. In this form, for every 20 extra Physical Attack Suyou has, he gains a 1% Damage Reduction
    (up to 40%).
Blade Surge (Mobility / CC)

Blade Surge (Mobility / CC)

  • Tap: Suyou throws his weapon in the target direction, dealing 250 (+100% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies in its path. Suyou then blinks to the weapon's location, catches it, and performs a slash in the opposite direction, dealing 375 (+150% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage.
  • Hold: Suyou channels the Immortal's power and charges in the target direction, dealing 250 (+100% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies along the path. When hitting an enemy hero, he stops and stuns enemies in a rectangular area in front for 0.6s. The charge distance increases with the hold time. Suyou can be controlled while charging, but the skill cannot be interrupted.
Soul Sever (AOE / Burst)

  • Tap: Suyou performs a sweeping attack with his weapon, dealing Physical Damage equal to 300 (+200% Extra Physical Attack) plus 20% of the target's Lost HP to enemies in a fan-shaped area.
Hold: Suyou channels the power of the Immortal to perform 3 cleaves in a fan-shaped area. The first two strikes deal 250 (+90% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage each, while the final strike deals 400 (+144% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage and recovers 150 (+50% Extra Physical Attack) HP for himself.

Evil Queller (Damage / Debuff)

  • Tap: Suyou glides backward and swings his weapon in the target direction, dealing 420 (+120% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies in a rectangular area and on his path backward, and reducing their Movement Speed by 30% for 1.5s.
  • Hold: Suyou uses the Immortal's power to shoot a deadly arrow in the target's direction, dealing 580 (+165% Extra Physical Attack) Physical Damage to the target hit. The range increases with the hold time. Suyou can be controlled while charging, but the skill cannot be interrupted.

Skill Priority

Regardless of where you choose to play him, you should always start with Suyou’s second skill due to its high damage potential. His S2 is also the first skill you should prioritize, followed by his S3, and finally S1.

Skill Combos

Suyou has a wide variety of skill combos that you can use in various situations, whether that is running away or chasing enemies. He has such a wide range of combos due to his unique playstyle of tapping and holding his skills, allowing for huge variety. Below you can see our recommendations for Suyou’s skill combos.

Skill Combo Notes
Blade Surge (Mobility / CC)Soul Sever (AOE / Burst)
S1 (Tap) > S2 (Tap)
This is an easy-to-execute combo that doesn’t deal much damage but is useful for finishing off running enemies.
Blade Surge (Mobility / CC)Soul Sever (AOE / Burst)
S1 (Hold) > S2 (Hold)
This combo is great for early ganking thanks to its quick initiation ability and high burst damage.
Blade Surge (Mobility / CC)Evil Queller (Damage / Debuff)Soul Sever (AOE / Burst)
S1 (Hold) > S3 (Tap) > S2 (Hold)
Similar to the first combo, this combo is great for initiating and dealing damage, but the addition of the S3 Tap will slow down enemies so that they can’t escape.
Evil Queller (Damage / Debuff)Blade Surge (Mobility / CC)Soul Sever (AOE / Burst)
S3 (Hold) > S1 (Hold) > S2 (Hold)
This combo allows you to first poke the enemy from range with Suyou S3 Hold. After this, you quickly initiate with the S1 Hold to finally finish off your opponents with the high-damage S2 Hold.
Evil Queller (Damage / Debuff)Blade Surge (Mobility / CC)Soul Sever (AOE / Burst)
S3 (Hold) > S1 (Tap) > S2 (Hold)
This is a variation of the S3 Hold > S1 Hold > S2 Hold combo that has slightly lower damage but is easier and faster to execute due to the inclusion of the S1 Tap, making it better for ganking and initiating faster.

  • Passive: Creep rewards are increased by 60%, and damage taken from creeps is reduced by 50%. Minion rewards are reduced by 70% for the first 5 minutes.
  • Blessing: Reach 5 creep kills, hero kills, or hero kill assists to level up this skill (the skill decided by the Blessing of the Jungling Footwear purchased). Reaching 15 increases Physical Attack and Magic Power by 15.
EXP Lane Vengeance
