Many Warzone players enjoyed The Haunting event, which added excitement to the game amid growing anticipation for Modern Warfare 3. However, after the beta, Call of Duty players who returned to Modern Warfare 2 had a renewed appreciation for MW3.

Players had concerns about the reduction in Warzone's Massive Resurgence mode player count, dropping it from 150 to 100. Their frustrations grew when the developers attributed this change to community feedback.

One major concern among players was the absence of weapon balancing in the initial Haunting event update. Weapons like one-shot shotguns, the Kastov 762, and TR-76 Geist had become dominant in matches for weeks.

In response to player feedback and concerns, Infinity Ward addressed these issues by releasing a weapon tuning update that nerfs some of the game's most popular weapons.
