What Is Tactical Stance (Tac-Stance)

Tactical Stance introduces a fresh alternative to traditional aiming down sights (ADS) and hip-firing. Intended as the middle ground between these two options, Tactical Stance offers a unique set of advantages, especially in intense, close-quarter combat situations.

Key Elements of Tac-Stance:

• Canted Firing Position: When activating Tac-Stance, the operator unshoulders the weapon and holds it in a canted firing position, providing a tactical advantage when breaching tight hallways and cramped rooms.

• Dynamic Toggle: A significant feature of Tac-Stance is its dynamic toggle, allowing players to seamlessly switch in and out of Tac-Stance while aiming down sights. This flexibility adds a strategic layer to your combat approach.

• Trade-Off Between Accuracy and Mobility: Tac-Stance comes with a trade-off – while it sacrifices precise accuracy, it compensates with improved mobility and handling. This makes it a strategic choice for aggressive, fast-paced combat scenarios.

How To Turn It On & Settings

To activate Tactical Stance in Modern Warfare 3, it will kick in automatically while sliding or by aiming with the left trigger and pressing down on the D-Pad if you're using a controller.

To tweak Tactical Stance controls, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings (press the "menu" button on a controller).
2. Select Controller.
3. Go to the Gameplay section and scroll down to Combat Behaviors.

In this section, you'll find two options: Tactical Stance Activation and Tactical Stance Behavior.

Tactical Stance Activation determines what buttons you have to press in order to enter the firing mode. You have five options:
