MultiVersus Maps Explained
The maps in MultiVersus, also known as Stages, are 12 in total. After the game leaked in October 2021, MultiVersus has been announcing numerous fighters and maps - both playable or teased - and the excitement is already out the roof. The MultiVersus maps, along with the game itself, were inspired by some of Warner Bros. Discovery's most well-known characters and Universes.

MultiVersus Maps List
This is the Training Room stage. Do we need to explain anything else? Actually, yes, there's more! This is the first stage of the game and you have to get ready to spend a lot of time there - developing a strategy is the key to every successful fight and the Training Room is the perfect place to plan out your combos. Get ready to fall in love with this one!
Trophy's Edge is the second original map developed by Smash Bros., along with the Training Room, and it offers both 2-player and 4-player fights. The moving platforms and the hole in the center of the stage are amazing for spicing up your fights. However, this also makes it easier for teams to cluster up on the platform and push the opponents in the hole, which can be frustrating when players are trying to up their ranks.
The Tree Fort is great for both 1v1 and 2v2 fights. The 2-player version of this map offers simple and fun gameplay, while the 4-player version is considered to encourage a more aggressive strategy. There are two branches on either side of the stage as terrain and they function as bounce pads. You only have a couple of jumps before they break, so you have to be careful! The map is inspired by the famous Adventure Time.
The Sky Arena map has a clean and simple design. The platforms can move around which gives a fun twist to the fights. This stage isn't considered the best, but it's not the worst either - it reaches a solid balance to have a good amount of fun. It offers both 2-player and 4-player fights, so don't hesitate to try both versions. This is your chance to become one of the best players in Steven Universe!

If you're a fan of Batman, don't miss your chance to have some thrilling fights in the Batcave. Before you ask - yes, there are two Batmobiles on either side of the stage. Although this map offers both 1v1 and 2v2 fights, it hosts only shorter matches.
The most interesting part of Dexter's Laboratory is the fact that it will always change its layout from match to match, introducing different gadgets, tubes, buttons, and moving platforms. The 2v2 version of Dexter's Laboratory is an auto side-scrolling map, designed for competitive play. It takes inspiration directly from Dexter's Laboratory Universe, so the matches are definitely going to be crazy good!
The Throne Room map is divided into 3 parts. The middle part is much smaller compared to the other two. A few seconds after starting a match, the walls on either side of the map will disappear, giving the room a similar layout to the Training Room and the Sky Arena. This stage is inspired by the famous Game of Thrones series.
Get ready to dive into the world of The Powerpuff Girls! This map takes place on top of Townsville Hall, with Malph's, Townsville's Mall, and Bank in the background. Mojo Jojo's inventions flying around the stage will possibly serve as exciting stage hazards.

Cromulons is the newest stage added to the game and it's based on the amazing Rick and Morty show. However, the map still needs some additional adjustments. The fact that there's no center platform makes it easy for a team to cluster and push the opponents in the corner, without any hope for escape. The Cromulons map offers both 2-player and 4-player fights.
The Haunted Mansion map is a great choice for both 1v1 and 2v2 fights. It's inspired by Scooby-Doo and it's one of the most interesting stages in the MultiVersus meta. However, fans consider the unpredictability of this stage to be a serious drawback.
The Court is a stage based on the Tune World from Space Jam: A New Legacy. The map consists mainly of a flat surface with walls on the sides. And here's the most fun part - the walls will collapse if you throw enough fighters at it! This map is a great choice for both 1v1 and 2v2 fights.
The Warner Bros. Lot is based on the real-life studio in Burbank, California. The iconic Warner Bros. Water Tower is the main attraction of this stage and fans are excited to see all the opportunities for fun it has to offer.
