Last week's episode of MHA Season 7 was extremely sad. After seeing Bakugo defeated and fatally wounded, we were left on edge wondering whether he really died or not. MHA Season 7 Episode 12: Delayed Release Date

This week's episode of MHA will not be released today. With the beginning of the Olympics, many broadcasting channels are adjusting their schedules and programs to accommodate the games. Japanese TV is no exception, as some shows are temporarily removed in favor of the competition. One of them is My Hero Academia, which will not have a new episode this week. However, the official release of My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12 will be on August 3, 2024, at 5:30 PM JST.

MHA Season 7 Episode 11: Recap

The fight with Shigaraki continues, and all the heroes are struggling to hold him back while Midoriya arrives. Bakugo landed some very impressive hits and dodged some of Tomura's attacks, but he took a lot of damage in the process. He has now become the main focus of Shigaraki, who wants to kill the person closest to Deku. Just as Shigaraki was about to kill him, the Big 3 came to the rescue and managed to save Katsuki with the help of Best Jeanist. We see the three of them fighting together with some amazing power combos and well-coordinated attacks. Thanks to flashbacks from their high school years together, we see how close Nejire, Mirio, and Tamaki actually are.

During their fight, Mirio judged Shigaraki for his desire for destruction and told him that if he had any friends, he wouldn't wish for something like that. This seemed to trigger Shigaraki, or more specifically Shimura's memory, causing his body to start splitting apart.

Despite his injuries and feelings of defeat and inadequacy, Bakugo was still determined to continue fighting. Even while being heavily injured, he was tracking Shigaraki's movements and learning his patterns. Right after the Big 3's strongest attack, Bakugo decided to make another attempt at defeating Shigaraki. Unfortunately, just as he was about to land his hit, Shigaraki sent another attack his way that none of the other heroes could stop.

Bakugo received a deadly blow and was left lifeless on the ground. The sad moment was intensified by showing us a relaxed version of Bakugo, where in his mind he gets to talk to All Might, apologize for his past behavior, and admit that all this time he wanted an autograph from his favorite hero.
