Fans are buzzing! A Ubisoft writer might have accidentally leaked images of the much-awaited "Assassin’s Creed Red." A logo and a picture of a female character popped up on their LinkedIn, causing a stir.

Ever since "Assassin's Creed Red" was announced, fans have been hunting for news about it. "Assassin’s Creed Mirage" kept them busy for a while, but everyone's really excited for a story set in Feudal Japan.

Earlier this year, rumors suggested that "Assassin’s Creed Red" would have gameplay similar to "Splinter Cell" and feature a female lead. This latest leak from a Ubisoft writer seems to confirm those whispers.

The writer, Pierre Boudreau, posted a banner on his LinkedIn. It had what looked like official art, including a logo and a character, clearly linked to the new game’s Japanese setting.

The group Access the Animus spotted the picture and shared it on Twitter. It showed a game logo made in the Japanese writing style and a female Assassin holding a traditional sword, a katana.

The image's background was bright red, with a building showing classic Japanese design. This all points even more to "Assassin’s Creed Red."

Fans were thrilled but puzzled. "Did he share this too soon?" one person wondered. "It’s a big hint!"

Not long after, Boudreau took down the image and put up an "Assassin’s Creed Valhalla" picture instead. This quick switch has made people believe even more that the first image was real.

Name of New Game Still a Mystery

Sadly, "Assassin’s Creed Red" is so new, it doesn’t have a final name yet. We only know the game is set in Feudal Japan. Ubisoft likes using creative names, like "Valhalla" for the Viking-themed game and "Mirage" for the desert one. So, we're all eagerly waiting for the official reveal of the new game's name. Keep an eye out - it could be announced any time now!
