New Hideo Kojima & Jordan Peele Horror Game 'OD' Revealed

In a surprising turn of events, one of the biggest reveals at The Game Awards 2023 has been the brand new horror game 'OD,' with Hideo Kojima and Jordan Peele at the helm of its development. The trailer, featuring actors such as Sophia Lillis (IT & Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) and Hunter Schafer (Euphoria), had players initially thinking it was the next trailer for Death Stranding 2. However, it turned out to be a brand new game developed by Kojima Productions. Here is everything we know about OD:

When Hideo Kojima came to the stage of The Game Awards 2023, many fans expected him to announce the release date of Death Stranding 2, a game he announced himself last year at the same show. Fans of Kojima were surprised when a brand new title 'OD' was shown on the screen after one of the weirdest trailers we've seen this year. While the trailer didn't have a release date attached to it, we can easily tell that it is going to be in the horror genre, probably inspired by PT.

After a few translated sentences, Kojima brought to the stage renowned horror movie director Jordan Peele, to announce his involvement with the game. This pairing has had fans very excited as both of them love pushing the boundaries in their respective media, not being limited by their genres.

Jordan Peele expressed many times throughout the short interview that this game is not just a horror game, but a brand new form of media between a game and movie, which will use the Xbox's Cloud Gaming technology. While we don't have much more information than that, we are certainly intrigued by what all of this could mean for the game.
