We already have some important information regarding LoL Esports' newest international tournament that will shake things up on the competitive scene. After being teased for so long, Riot Games has unveiled some details for the third major tournament in the League of Legends competitive season.

LoL First Stand Format
The first global tournament of the year will feature the long-awaited Fearless Draft format. Here is a short rundown of how it works:
- Once a champion is selected, it becomes unavailable for both teams for the remainder of the series.
- This means that in Bo3s and Bo5s, teams will need to change things up as you will need to have a big champion pool to succeed.
LoL Esports has decided to integrate this new format across all major regions for their first splits so that players can adjust to this new structure, and possibly give us some banger series with champions never played before.
We are not certain how the tournament will play out, given how only 1 team per region will be able to qualify for First Stand. Most likely it will feature a round-robin format, with the bottom team being eliminated and the top 4 teams advancing to the Playoffs Stage for Bo5s.

- LCK Qualification: LCK Cup 2025 Champion
- LPL Qualification: TBD
- LTA Qualification: LTA 2025 Split 1 Playoffs Champion
- LEC Qualification: LEC 2025 Winter Playoffs Champion
