BlizzCon 2023 starts in just a few hours, with fans all around the world expecting a plethora of different announcements for their favorite games. Games like Overwatch 2, Diablo 4 and World of Warcraft are expected to have a big showing tonight, from expansion announcements to updates and maybe a few surprises.
A few hours before the start of the convention, images have surfaced of Overwatch 2's brand new tank hero - Mauga. This character has been rumoured to become a a part of Overwatch's roster for a very long time, first appearing alongside Baptiste in some pieces of media by Blizzard.

Mauga Image Leaked Ahead of BlizzCon 2023
As we can see from the image Mauga looks amazing. Sporting two huge heavy weapons, similar to the one used by the Heavy in Team Fortress 2, he is sure to become one of the most intriguing releases in Overwatch 2's life-cycle. He will join the cast of new tank heroes, similar to Ramattra, who got released just around a year ago.
The image also suggests players will be able to test Mauga out without unlocking first, for a limited time this weekend. Wether this is true or not is yet to be seen but you can be sure we will update you whenever we have any more information!
