Weapons are of utmost importance in Stardew Valley as they aid you in your monster fights. Typically, they are acquired through monster drops, and chests, or can be purchased from the Adventurer's Guild. However, there are exceptions, as Stardew Valley features secret weapons that can only be equipped after completing a certain quest or visiting a special location.

Meowmere is the newest addition to the weapons in Stardew Valley. This pink and blue sword is, in fact, a reference to the popular adventure game Terraria, serving as an identical replica of a sword of the same name in Terraria.
The new sword creates colorful explosions when used.

How to Get Meowmere?
In order to acquire this secret weapon, you need to obtain an Ancient Doll and a Far Away Stone. Here's a guide on how to find them and equip Meowmere.
Where to Find an Ancient Doll?
Ancient Dolls are quite rare, with the highest chance of finding one is 3%. The best locations to search for one are Mountain Lake, the Bus Stop, and Cindersap Forest. Try digging up Artifact Spots and opening chests.
Don't lose hope! Exercise patience and continue your search, just as you might have done with other rare items.
How To Get a Far Away Stone?
- After you have finally obtained an Ancient Doll, you need to progress to Level 100 in the regular mines.
- There, you will encounter a lava lake.
- Throw the Ancient Doll into the lava pool, and you will witness a giant Bone Serpent emerging from the lava.
- In gratitude, the Serpent will present you with the Far Away Stone (also known as a green Forest Pylon in Terraria).
Where Is the Meowmere Sword?
Now that you have your green Far Away Stone, head to the Wizard's Tower. Access Ramsmodius's basement through the entrance at the back of his house.
All that's left for you to do now is place the Far Away Stone on the plant stand on the right side of the room. Doing this will open a portal. A cat will come and bring you your own Meowmere. Congrats!

Important Things to Know About Meowmere
- Be careful! Switch players have tried to acquire the sword, but Meowmere is available only in the 1.6 update for PC. Don't waste your Ancient Doll.
- With every swing, Meowmere deals the same amount of damage!
- If you obtain a Meowmere sword, keep it! Be careful not to lose it and don't sell it because once you get Meowmere, you can never obtain a second one.
- Meowmere is not as strong as other swords. However, it is still a cool weapon to add to your inventory!
