Beloved Game Mode Nexus Blitz Makes a Return

Nexus Blitz (Project SLIME) is an experimental mode that ran from July 31st to September 11th, 2018. It started being playable for alpha testing on live servers on patch V8.16.

Many players have been asking for Nexus Blitz following its popularity and success as this fast-paced game mode allows for an even more fun experience for casual players to enjoy the game whilst also trying out new and bold strategies to win as quickly as possible.

The game mode is now live on EUW, EUNE, RU, and TR servers. It will be available starting at 1:00 pm PT in all other regions. The game mode will remain available until November 27th, 2023 at 11:59pm PT

Riot Games Keeps Nailing Fun Game Modes

After the success of the newest Arena 2v2v2v2 mode, the community has been asking for longer playtime periods and for game modes to return as often as possible. Given the fact that League of Legends is 14 years now, players are eager to try out new maps, champions and modes to keep their experience fresh.

Hopefully Rioters will cook up even more exciting alternatives to Summoner's Rift with many players asking for the return of U.R.F., Doom Bots, One for All, and classics like Twisted Treeline and Dominion as well.
