Once Human - All Polluted Water Locations

Polluted Water is an important resource in Once Human as it's the main ingredient needed to craft Acid. However, gathering Polluted Water might seem like an overwhelming task. But when you get it, Polluted Water will help you craft Acid to build crafting materials such as Tungsten.

Even though Polluted Water isn't everywhere, some locations are guaranteed to provide you with good amounts of it. One of the best strategies to farm it is to situate your base near areas that are abundant in Polluted Water. Keep reading to learn where you can find Polluted Water and how to extract it using a Water Pump.

Once Human All Polluted Water Locations

Iron River

Travel to the Ricci Securement Tower in Iron River, and you'll see a small settlement underwater. Keep in mind that the entire area is covered by water, which contains Pollutants to help you start harvesting Polluted Water.

Red Sands

There are four places in Red Sands where you will be able to find Polluted Water. You can travel north of Fort Eyrie or visit the Blackfell Fallen Zone. If none of these work for you, or you simply want to gather more of the material, you can also go to the Evergreen Settlement or north of the Alternative Reality Research Institute.

Blackheart Region

There is a huge lake filled with Polluted Water beneath a cliff that overlooks the White Cliff settlement in the Blackheart region. The other location is a small pond north of the Falcon's Perch Frontier.

Chalk Peak

You will find a considerable amount of Polluted Water beside the shoreline of the sea in the Chalk Peak area. Follow the road from the Teleporter in the northern section, and you'll come across a small settlement.

Once Human How To Extract Polluted Water

Once you have found Polluted Water, you need to harvest it and produce Acid. To do this, you need to have a Water Pump. You can find it in the Logistics section of your Memetics menu. Click on the Logistics tab and get the blueprints for the Pump.

Next, install the Water Pump by positioning it in the water. Make sure that it is fully submerged, or it will not work. Deploy Electric Eels to power it and begin the process of extracting Polluted Water.

Once Human Polluted Water Locations Summary

It's important to note that while Water Pumps are great, you need to have at least three or four Water Tanks to store the Polluted Water. If you do that, you can freely continue your missions, hunt, or pay attention to other tasks while the Water Pump does the work passively.
