Once Human - All Tamable Animals & Locations

Once Human isn't only about keeping your character well-fed while trying to find the next boss fight. Surviving requires a lot of effort, including collecting resources, Deviants, Modules, and feral animals.

Taming the beasts in Once Human is not easy, but before you even try, it's important to be aware of which ones can live at your base in the first place. Let's dive in!

Once Human All Tamable Animals & Locations

There are 16 animal species that you can capture and take care of in Once Human, and they can be either used for their skins and meat or simply kept as pets at your base. Here is a list of all tamable animals and the locations where they are most commonly found:

It's important to note that the developers have already mentioned expanding the list of tamable creatures in the future, but these are currently all the animals that you can bring back home.

Once Human How To Increase Animal Tameness

After you capture an animal, you need to always make sure that its levels of Happiness, Energy, and Hydration are above 30%. This is also how you increase its Tameness meter, which has the following four stages:

• 0%-20%: Animals don't produce supplies, and they try to escape
• 20%-50%: Animals don't produce supplies
• 50%-80%: Animals produce supplies and obey your combat commands.
• 80%-100%: Animals produce the maximum amount of supplies and reach their full combat potential

If you want to see the details for any of your animals, simply hover over its body with your mouse and press F. A list of its favorite foods and general diet instructions will become visible.

Once Human Animals You Cannot Tame

Although there are plenty of animals in Once Human that you can interact with in one way or another, you cannot capture all of them. If you want to know which ones are not tamable, look at the white line on their health bar.
