Once Human - Ancient One's Trial Quest Walkthrough

Update 1.1 in Once Human released plenty of new additions to be excited about, and one of the most interesting features is the Ancient One's Trial. The Ancient One is back from Chalk Peak and ready to challenge you with some balloons in the sky.

However, before starting this quest, it's important to understand how it works. In this guide, we'll show you how to start and complete the Ancient One's Trial quest in Once Human, so you can get the big rewards at the end.

Once Human How To Start Ancient One's Trial Quest

To start the Ancient One's Trial quest in Once Human, open the map and press X to check whether the challenge is active. Go to the Teleportation Tower in Chalk Peak (coordinates 2789, -5607), and climb up the mountain on the east side.

Find a spot to park your vehicle and continue on foot. Keep following the main path until you see the mountain's peak (coordinates 2355, -5300). When you see the airplane, use the updraft pads and jump on top of it. Find the red sphere and press F to interact with it; this will begin the Ancient One's Trial quest.

Before trying to take down any balloons, it's good to be prepared with the right weapons. We recommend using guns with copper ammo since you don't need to deal a lot of damage. Weapons with the Bounce effect will also help you eliminate a lot of targets with a single shot.

Keep in mind that the Unstable Bomber build will be extremely useful in this case since you have a limited amount of time, and it'll help you deal high AoE damage and shoot multiple balloons before you run out of time.

After the plane takes off, you'll have to take down as many balloons as possible before it lands again to complete the Ancient One's Trial quest. Each color will bring you different points.

It's important to note that popping the black balloons will start a chain reaction. In other words, you'll be able to pop a lot of nearby balloons and earn more points.
