Once Human: Pre-Registration Rewards
Those who pre-register on Once Human's website will receive a variety of goodies, including consumables and a weapon skin. According to the website tracker for Once Human, little more than 14 million people have registered at the time of writing. If the number reaches 20 million, people who pre-register will receive Dragon’s Grip Gloves.
Once Human: Features and Gameplay
Once Human is defined as a "supernatural multiplayer open-world survival game." Stardust, an alien creature, has invaded the entire world. The player takes on the role of a meta-human, capable of harnessing Stardust's power while remaining immune to its harmful substances. Players can explore and fight throughout the realm, either with others or on their own.
Once Human's gameplay involves players exploring the wilderness of the open world. According to the game's Steam page, practically everything has been tainted as a result of the Stardust effect. That means that food and water are also affected, and if the player drinks tainted water, their "Sanity" will decline. A reduced "Sanity" affects your overall HP, therefore players must consider when and what they will consume.

Aside from that, there are enemies to defeat, including changed humans and "bosses from another dimension." Defeating bosses will yield goods and mitigate the effects of Stardust on the world.
Players can customize their weapons using blueprints. Finally, the game has a base-building mechanic that allows players to create their own environment. All of these components bleed into the larger story of discovering what happened to the globe.
Once Human: Deviants
Once Human has already revealed a variety of eldritch horrors, called Deviants, that you'll have to face. They all have unique designs that can make you shiver. Here are some of the Deviants found so far.
Wanderer
Wanderer is an unusually huge structure made up of a standard public transit vehicle plus many white appendages that stretch down to the ground and provide vital structural support. Black tendrils are detected protruding from beneath the entity's chassis.
Arachsiam

The greatest nightmare for arachnophobics. Their favored habitats are mountains and canyons, which provide all of the resources required to knit a gigantic web that connects two locations like a bridge. It stands two to three times taller than a normal adult and travels with remarkable speed. When you sense an awful shadow pass over your head, it is time to flee.
Secret Servitor
Servant of an old entity whose name is still unknown. Unlike previous Deviations, it was brought to Earth by Stardust. It brings cunning, power, and blind loyalty, like a good servant.
Summary
Once Human looks like a promising post-apocalyptic game that just might catch your interest. Make sure to pre-register before the game is released so you can get some goodies and enjoy the game once it comes out on July 9, 2024.
