Season 10 is just around the corner, and Overwatch 2 Director's Take has already announced some of the updates we can expect. Venture, the new DPS hero and the star of Season 10, will be joining the battle on April 16. Their exciting new abilities have already been revealed to players who are eager to try out the new hero.

Overwatch 2 Season 10: Tank Hero Changes
Junker Queen and Reinhard are both getting their Ultimates buffed. Both of the Tanks will be a bigger threat in the upcoming battles of Season 10.
Junker Queen
Carnage
- Increased Damage
Reinhardt
Earthshatter
- Increased Damage
Wrecking Ball
Wrecking Ball is the tank that will get the biggest upgrades at the beginning of Season 10. The new buffs in Wrecking Ball's kit will make him a much bigger threat as he will now be able to protect his teammates more and easily initiate fights.
Grappling Claw
- Reduced cooldown when not entering ramming speed
- He can retract himself to where the Grapple is attached by holding down Primary Fire or Jump
Adaptive Shield
- After using Adaptive Shields, you can reactivate the ability to transfer up to 300 overhealth to nearby allies, capped at 75 overhealth per ally.

Overwatch 2 Season 10: Damage Hero Changes
Sombra
Since Sombra's Virus now deals more initial damage, her ability is getting slightly nerfed.
Virus
- Damage over time: 100 ⇒ 90
Tracer
Tracer was described as one of the heroes in Overwatch 2 with the best and most well-balanced kit. The updates from Season 9 contributed to her highly efficient performance. To make the abilities of the battlefield more equal she will be "slightly more punishable and require more precision".

Overwatch 2 Season 10: Support Hero Changes
Illari
Illary's Primary fire got slightly nerfed so that her healing powers could get upgraded. Overwatch 2's director explained the need for more balancing in the Support hero abilities.
- Primary Fire recovery time - 0.2 to 0.25 seconds
- Secondary Fire: HPS from 105 to 115
Lifeweaver is confirmed to receive some buffs and Moria and Lucio will be the next Support heroes to receive changes.
