Season 8 of Overwatch 2 is in full swing, and after a ton of hero buffs and nerfs, the support meta has taken some time to settle. Use this tier list to choose the best support heroes to spam for easy wins in Season 8. Let's get started.
D Tier Heroes
Mercy
Well, at least she's not in F-tier! By simply focusing on surviving and pocketing a key DPS teammate, you can get solid value from Mercy. The issue is that she relies so heavily on her teammates to actually win games. The price of Mercy being so simple to play is that she lacks agency. Not a bad pick, but not recommended for carrying your games.

C Tier Heroes
Zenyatta
Zenyatta floats into the C-tier. He's still suffering massively from his Discord Orb nerf, especially with the arrival of Mauga and the popularity of Ramattra. Zenyatta should be a great answer to these tanks. Alas, he is just too fragile and too inconsistent right now to impact most games.

B Tier Heroes
Moira
Moira is extremely powerful when healing groups of allies, making her a solid pick in most brawl comps. Fade is also key, not only for escaping enemy dives, but also for going on aggressive flanks yourself when the opportunity arises. A solid if not overpowered pick in Season 8!
Illari
Illari slumps down to B-tier. After a smattering of nerfs, Illari has become more skill-reliant than ever in Season 8. Whilst average gameplay can win you games on many heroes, Illari is no longer one of them. Avoid unless you're confident with your mechanics!
Lifeweaver
Lifeweaver picked up a handful of nerfs for Season 8, but don't let that deter you. Nerfs to Life Grip's cooldown and Healing Blossom ammo do little to cut back on Lifeweaver's strengths. B-tier!

A Tier Heroes
Brigitte
Brigitte is still suffering from the whiplash of repeated buffs and nerfs. Now all is said and done, Brig is about as strong as ever, except for the fact that Winston's Tesla Cannon now penetrates her armor. Consider saving your Shield Bash cooldown for use as an escape tool when staring down the monkey.
Ana
The impact of Ana's abilities easily outshine any nerfs she's picked up recently. With Winston and Ramattra doing well in the meta, and the introduction of Mauga, Ana has no shortage of bulky tank targets to pocket. An easy A-tier.
Baptiste
Baptiste is floundering. This hero is clinging to A-tier by his fingertips after his primary fire clip size nerfs. That said, his kit, similar to Ana's, continues to be one of the most impactful sets of abilities in the game. Your carry potential might've taken a hit since last season, but Bap is still more than capable of seeing you to the higher ranks in Season 8.

S Tier Heroes
Kiriko
It's S-tier for Kiriko after buffs to her healing projectile speed and the healing explosion of her Protection Suzu. These buffs alongside her innate ability to focus-fire problem enemies make Kiriko a solo carry force of nature in Season 8.
Lucio
All of the top tanks in the game right now are loving Lucio's speed boost. A team with Lucio speed versus one without will easily swarm and overwhelm their opponents. The introduction of Mauga is just more synergy for Lucio in Season 8. If you're still undecided as to what to main this season, Lucio is your man.
