Overwatch 2 x Transformers Collab: All New Skins Revealed

The OW2 x Transformers collab is finally here! We've been seeing teasers for long enough, and with the latest Transmission comic that Blizzard published, we were super excited to see the skins in-game! In the comic, which was very well illustrated, we saw more of an animated version of the upcoming skins and didn't even know which heroes would be part of the collaboration (except Ramattra, of course).

Now, the Transformers event has begun alongside the mid-season patch update for Season 11! You have until July 22 to acquire the four Transformers skins before the event ends. Check out all of them here!

Megatron Ramattra

Most fans correctly predicted that the Overwatch 2 character best suited for the role of the Decepticons' leader would be Ramattra. Many people seem to agree that Ramattra's skin is not as good as the rest in the Transformers skin line. While his Nemesis form definitely looks better, the main issues with the skin are its plain design and lack of resemblance to Megatron. It is understandable that people would expect more from the main antagonist in Transformers.

Arcee Illari

Illari getting a skin in the Transformers line came as a surprise to everyone. Echo and Pharah were definitely more expected contenders for the Arcee skin, but honestly, Illari's version looks great! The design and colors are perfect. Not to mention that as a new champion, Illari has been lacking skins.

Bumblebee Bastion

Bastion as Bumblebee is a match made in heaven! The two characters have so much in common, and Bastion's design allowed for an actual mechanic to show his Bumblebee car transformation. Both are robots that do not speak but possess a kind heart that makes everyone love them. All in all, it is a very fun skin that fans will most certainly enjoy.

Optimus Prime Reinhardt

We finally move to the proud leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime, whose skin has wisely been given to Reinhardt. Both Optimus Prime and Reinhardt are strong leaders who protect their teammates and friends. Reinhardt's default armor served as a great base for the Transformers skin, allowing the developers to bring Optimus to life in his full attire in OW2. This skin is everything we expected from the collaboration and is definitely the best one in the line!
