All Starter Pals in Palworld
Foxparks
Foxparks is Pal #001 and possesses the Flame element. This fiery fox can shoot fireballs from its tail during battle. Players can also carry Foxparks underarm and essentially wield it as a flamethrower against enemies or to light campfires for cooking.
In terms of offense and survival utility, Foxparks is likely the most capable Starter Pal. Its innate fire abilities make it a versatile pick for players favoring either combat or exploration focuses early on.

Lamball
Adorable Lamball holds the #007 spot in the Paldeck. Despite its cute exterior, Lamball actually boasts a mounted machine gun as its weapon of choice. It can also shield players from damage via its Body Shield partner skill when carried.
While not packing raw power, Lamball enables defensive play and has strength in numbers. Groups can even help construct buildings and contraptions. Lamball's support capabilities make it a solid well-rounded starter.

Chikipi
At #031 sits Chikipi, who seems to be too weak from the gameplay. Indeed, the chicken Pal appears to serve primarily as a replenishing food source early in the game. Its small stature also means it gets hunted frequently. According to the trailer, Chikipi is capable of doing ranged damage but the scale of it is unknown.
Currently, Chikipi seems to offer the least tangible benefits of the three Starters. However, as the "Magikarp" of Palworld, it may hide impressive potential through later breeding.

Our Starter Pal Pick: Foxparks
We recommend Foxparks as the best Starter Pal choice for new players. Its offensive fire skills equip survivors to take on enemy Pals and environmental challenges alike. Lamball isn't far behind as a supportive pick though.
Once the full game launches, the specifics around abilities may shift. But at the moment, the fiery fox Foxparks looks like the strongest companion when just setting foot in the Palworld.
