Path of Exile 2: Ancient Vows Medallion Quest Guide

The Ancient Vows quest in Path of Exile 2 has three different steps that you need to do in order to complete it. You are going to need to find the statue with the medallion socket, as well as the two parts of the medallion to insert into it. These three steps can be done in any order, with some players randomly finding one of the medallion pieces first or just the statue itself with nothing to place in it. Here are the locations of all of the three objectives, as well as how you can complete them:

  • Sun Clan Relic - The Sun Clan Relic is a random drop that you can find by defeating enemies in the region of the Bone Pits in Act 2. This item seems like a totally random drop, and it's not really associated with any type of rare enemy or boss. Make sure to defeat every enemy in the zone until you get the relic!
  • Kabala Clan Relic - The Kabala Clan Relic is a random drop that you can find by defeating enemies in the region of Keth in Act 2. There are many enemies across the zone, and it seems like there is a higher drop chance from the serpent monsters. You shouldn't need to clear the entire zone for the drop, but be prepared to do so.
  • Offering to Amrit - The statue with the medallion socket can be found in the Valley of the Titans region in Act 2. This statue is right next to the waypoint of the zone, and it should not be mistaken with the other statues that are tied to the main story. You can recognize it by the empty medallion socket that is shown in front of it once you get closer. You can place each of the two medallion pieces straight into the socket by dragging the item from your inventory and putting them in their respective place.

After using both pieces of the medallion, you are going to be able to choose one of two permanent buffs for your character:

  • 30% Increased Charm Charges
  • 15% Mana Recovery from Flasks

This choice is not permanent, and you can switch between the different buffs each time you visit the zone.

That is everything you need to know about the Ancient Vows quest in Path of Exile 2. All of the permanent buffs that are available in the campaign are vital, as the game is much harder to progress through compared to its predecessor.
