Path of Exile allows for a variety of gameplay options. Depending on your preferred gaming style and the capabilities of your build, there are numerous methods to begin farming currency. We'll be checking out the Harvest mechanic today and gauging how easy it is to get into, how cheap it is to get it started, and how much currency you can begin making with a small investment.

How Does 'Harvest' Work in Path of Exile?

Harvest is a league mechanic in Path of Exile, where the player fights monsters in The Sacred Grove to access various Harvest crafting options that they provide. Maps have a chance to contain a portal to The Sacred Grove.

Each Sacred Grove instance contains several Lifeforce Dispersers, which are each attached to two patches of seeds. Each seed patch shows a list of consumable Harvest crafts that can be obtained from the patch.

You can choose which patch to activate. When a patch is chosen, the other patch attached to the Lifeforce Disperser withers, and monsters spawn from the activated patch. When these monsters are defeated, the Harvest crafts for the chosen patch become available for use at the Lifeforce Disperser.

Path of Exile: The Easiest Way to Farm Harvest

There are a ton of different ways to farm Harvest in Path of Exile. In this article, we’ll show you the most accessible version available. You can run any map with this strategy, but Jungle Valley has a great layout for Harvest. It’s important to roll a high quantity on your maps.

One of the first things you’ll want to use is Atziri Fragments for additional increased quantity. Next, you’ll want to use a Scarab of Monstrous Lineage for the increased magic pack size. A good addition will be a Harvest Scarab of Doubling, which makes the Life Force dropped by Harvest Monsters duplicate.

Last but not least, you should use a Harvest Scarab of Cornucopia, as it provides an additional Tier 4 Seed of each type if possible. It’s a good idea to add more map quantity from your map device, as it’s free and useful.

Path of Exile: Tips for Harvest:

  1. Crafts can be used from The Sacred Grove on items in the player's inventory or on items in the player's stash. They can also be sent to the Horticrafting Station for storage (up to a limit).

  2. The Sacred Grove is part of the map instance it is entered from, which means map modifiers apply within the Grove as well.

  3. You can access an alternative version of the area by using a Sacred Blossom. The item would open the boss fight version of The Sacred Grove.

How to Set Up Your Atlas for Harvest in Path of Exile

To set up your Atlas for Harvest in Path of Exile, you should start by taking most Harvest nodes. It’s very important to grab the % increased effect of map mods from your Atlas. It would be best if you also claimed a 100% Harvest chance from the Atlas. This is the cheapest strategy you can run for Harvest, but if you decide, you can invest more for a higher profit. You can get Scarab or Shrine nodes with the point left on your Atlas.

Here is a good example of an Atlas ready for Harvest by Empyriangaming, who’s been testing different league mechanics. If you want to see the results of farming 50 maps with the strategy, you can check out his video:
