Persona 3 Reload: Is There a Female Protagonist?

Persona 3 Reload just launched on February 2nd and with its release it brought a ton of new players to the Persona franchise, while also bringing back a ton of veterans who played the original Persona 3 game way back in 2006.

With P3 Reload aiming to be a remake of the Persona 3 series it is only natural that fans will wonder if they will get to play as Kotone, the female protagonist that first appeared in the Persona 3 Portable game.

As of now, Kotone is not playable in Persona 3 Reload, but this could change with future updates.

Is There a Female Protagonist in Persona 3 Reload?

The Female protagonist of the Persona 3 series is known as Kotone. She is a character that first appeared in the Persona 3 Portable version of Persona 3 back in 2009. 

Fans have been wondering if they will be able to play with Kotone in Persona 3 Reload, however, to their disappointment it seems that Kotone will not be playable in Persona 3 Reload.

Although Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the Persona 3 game, it only takes parts from the Persona 3 game that was released in 2006. It does not include parts from Persona 3 FES or Persona 3 Portable which are both standalone titles. 

Fans have been disappointed at this decision and are still eagerly awaiting more news about this topic.

Will Kotone Come to Persona 3 Reload in the Future?

There is still no news on whether fans of Persona 3 Reload will get to play with Kotone in the future. Another similar thing happened to [The Answer] epilogue that is from the Persona 3 FES game, which is expected to arrive in Persona 3 Reload as DLC content in the future, however, no such rumors have been going around for Kotone.

For now, it is safe to assume that we will not be playing with Kotone in Persona 3 Reload in the future.
