Pirates of the Caribbean: Reboot Cast
The director of the movie has shown his appreciation and desire to work with Johnny Depp on multiple occasions. However, during an interview with the Sunday Times in 2022, Bruckheimer mentioned that Johnny Depp's appearance again as Captain Jack Sparrow is "unlikely". Despite the disheartening comment about Depp's recasting, fans still believe that there is a chance for the popular actor to join the movie.

This leads us to believe that the cast for the reboot may be entirely new. It is understandable for the producers to choose this option since they will have to rework the story from scratch and bringing new faces would amplify the uniqueness of the reboot while also paying tribute to the original story.

Pirates of the Caribbean: 2 New Upcoming Movie Projects
Disney has entertained numerous ideas for the future of the Pirates of the Caribbean throughout the years. The confirmation of an official reboot is one thing, but we also know of two more projects that are on the way.
One of the projects is quite well-known and involves the talented Margot Robbie. This script was said to have been scrapped at some point, but Jerry Bruckheimer himself refuted those claims and added that while the story is great, it needs a little more work.
The second rumored movie was said to feature a younger cast. Although we don't know any details, we assume it could either be some kind of prequel or just a completely new story with young pirates in the same universe. Either way, we are eager to see it happen.
