Planet Coaster 2 How To Make A Pool
First, you need to locate and open the Create Custom menu. Now it's time to select the correct tools. Keep in mind that the game has what seems like an endless amount of them, but don't worry; you only need to choose one of the following three:
- Line Tool
- Draw Tool
- Stamp Tool
Once you've made your choice, you'll be able to shape the area in any way you like until you're happy with the size. Moreover, you don't have to think about the Depth of the pool too much since you can always make it deeper in the later stages of the game. After you're done digging, use the Rounding and Edit tools to finish off the edges.
It's important to mention that putting Ladders here and there is crucial, as your Guests will have to get in and out of the pool with no issues. Then, make sure to connect it to the rest of the theme park by using the Path tool. There's a chance that your pool's exterior intersects with the customized theme park path, but this isn't a problem.
Planet Coaster 2 Filtration & Staff
Keeping the quality of the water in your pool high is essential. To place a Water Filter, open the Facilities menu and find the Water Pump and Water Filter in the Utilities tab. Make sure to put the latter in a spot that can cover more than one pool, and the Water Pump can go anywhere you want, as long as it's near a body of water. Make sure to connect the two items with a Water Pipe, which is also located in the Utilities tab.
Last but not least, build a path that leads to both devices so that if something breaks, the Mechanic can come and fix it. Next, hire a Lifeguard to save swimmers in danger and make your Guests feel safe. Open the Scenery tab at the Pool Extras menu and click on the Lifeguard Chair. When you choose this item and place it next to the pool, a Lifeguard will be automatically assigned to it. However, try to choose a tall version of the Chair so your Lifeguard can cover more of the area.

Planet Coaster 2 Guest Facilities
Creating a pool and hiring a few Lifeguards is not enough if you want to have the best waterpark out there. To make it suitable for visitors, you need to add special spaces where they can change, use the bathroom, and dry themselves before leaving. Here is a list of the major facilities your water park needs to function at its full potential:
- Changing Rooms
- Guest Facilities
- Body Dryers
The good news is that they are all located in the Facilities menu, and once you place them in the center of the path, your Guests will be able to access them easily. The Changing Rooms and Body Dryers can be placed next to each other to make them even more convenient.
Planet Coaster 2 Pool Extras
Never underestimate the power of decorations. If you want to keep your Guests happy and entertained, you'll definitely need some of those. You can add a few exciting Flumes, Lounges, and Diving Boards, which will also contribute to the amount of Prestige you gain from your pool.
However, be aware that the Diving Board needs to be above diving-depth water for safety. Additionally, you can put some Scenery objects to entertain your guests. Have fun and good luck on your next adventure! For more information about Planet Coaster 2, you can check out this article.
