2023 was an amazing year for PlayStation fans, featuring some of the best games of the decade like Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Baldur's Gate 3, and Resident Evil 4. As the new year begins, Sony decided to give us a glimpse into the future with their first State of Play showcase. This event brings a mix of announcements for new releases and teasers for games that have been in development for quite a while.

Playstation State of Play: List of All Revealed Games
The first PlayStation State of Play for 2024 just ended, and there were a ton of sneak peeks, trailers, and release dates announced during its 40-minute runtime. Among the expected highlights of the night, Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin, and Dragon's Dogma 2, we also had a couple of interesting developments surrounding the Silent Hill franchise.
A trailer for Silent Hill 2 was shown, with a lack of a release date, but a new game called Silent Hill: The Short Message, which is a spin-off set in Germany, is out now and free to play. An Until Dawn remaster, as well as more teasers for Hideo Kojima's upcoming Death Stranding 2, were also present.
