Pokemon GO Community Day: November 2024

Starting on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, players will be able to enjoy a new monthly Community Day roster of bonuses and rewards, including a special Pokemon! Let's dive right into it!

Featured Pokemon

For the duration of the event, the Fighting type Pokemon Mankey will appear more frequently in the wild. If you're lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!

Evolution

Mankey ⇒ Primeape: 50 Candy
Primeape ⇒ Annihilape: 100 Candy

Featured Attack

Evolve Mankey or Primeape during the event or up to five hours afterward to get a Primeape or Annihilape that knows the Charged Attack Rage Fist.

Rage Fist (Ghost)

Trainer Battles: 50 Power
Gyms: 100 Power
Raids: 100 Power

Event Bonuses

Limited-time Evolution requirement: you can evolve Primeape into Annihilape after catching 20 Fighting-type Pokemon with Primeape as your buddy.*
3x XP for catching Pokemon.
2x Candy for catching Pokemon.
2x chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!

While most bonuses are only active during the three-hour event period, these will be active from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time:

One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

* This Evolution requirement will return to the usual requirement after 10:00 p.m. local time.

Four-Star Raid Battles

Primeape will appear in four-star raids! You can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these Raid Battles.

Four-Star Raid Battle Bonus

Once you successfully complete a four-star Raid Battle against Primeape, more Mankey will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. Mankey that appear under these circumstances will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokemon as those that appear during November Community Day’s three-hour event period.

Bonus Raid Battles After Community Day

On Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, you will still be able to take on the aforementioned special four-star Raid Battles with the chance to encounter Shiny Mankey.

Field Research

November Community Day–themed Field Research will be available! Catch 3x Mankey to earn:

Encounter with Shiny Mankey
5x Great Balls
2x Ultra Balls
2x Pinap Berry
2x Golden Razz Berry
500x Stardust

Community Day Special Research

For $1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Mankey Community Day-exclusive Special Research.
Stay tuned for when tickets for the Special Research go live.
Don’t forget: you’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.
To gift a ticket, tap the Special Research ticket in the in-game shop, then tap the Gift button instead of the Buy button.

Note: Tickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). This Special Research will not include an in-game medal.

An Ultra Community Day Box will be available on the Pokemon GO Web Store during the event for $4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). This web store deal will be available starting November 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. PDT, three days before the ticket is available in the in-game shop! The deal features:

If you’re looking for Trainers in your area to trade, battle, or join raids with on Community Day, check out the Community Day map! There you can find Community Ambassador events and local parks.

Community Ambassadors receive support from Niantic to run Pokémon GO events for their communities. If there are no Community Ambassadors near you, you can also search Campfire and find other meetups in your area.
