Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey Event: Dates, Bonuses & More

Pokemon Go trainers have an exciting new event to look forward to with the Lustrous Odyssey. Running from January 6th to January 10th, this event will introduce the long-awaited Dusk Form Lycanroc and offer plenty of bonuses.

Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey Event Dates

The Pokemon Go Lustrous Odyssey event begins on Saturday, January 6th at 10 AM through Wednesday, January 10 th at 8 PM local time. This coincides with the Rowlet Community Day, giving trainers even more to catch during that weekend.

Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey Event Special Pokemon Debut and Wild Encounters

The main attraction of this event is the debut of Dusk Form Lycanroc. Some of the Rockruff caught during this event can evolve into this special form, whereas previously only Midday and Midnight Forms were available.

Many other Pokemon will also be appearing more frequently in the wild encounters, such as:

• Eevee
• Espeon
• Fomantis
• Gastly
• Lunatone
• Morelull
• Solrock
• Spinarak
• Sunkern
• Teddiursa
• Umbreon
• Yungoos

All these Pokemon will have increased spawn rates. Shiny hunters have plenty of chances since all those species can be found in their shiny forms.

Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey Event Raid Bosses

Four different Pokemon will be appearing in Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey Event.

One-Star Raids:

• Hisuian Growlithe
• Hisuian Sneasel
• Rhyhorn
• Rockruff

Three-Star Raids:

• Aerodactyl
• Hisuian Braviary
• Lapras
• Wyrdeer

Of all those Raid Bosses above, Hisuian Growlithe, Rockruff, Lapras, Aerodactyl, Hisuian Braviary, and Wyrdeer can be encountered as Shiny Pokemon.

Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey Event Eggs and Special Timed Research Encounters

Rockruff will be hatching from both 2KM and 7KM Eggs during this event. There will also be special Timed Research rewarding encounters with Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Sneasel, and Rockruff. Completing Field Research tasks can lead to the same reward encounters.

Pokemon GO Lustrous Odyssey Event Bonuses

On top of debuting Dusk Lycanroc, the Lustrous Odyssey event will have some great bonuses:

• Increased chance of receiving Souvenirs and Presents from Buddy Pokemon
• Buddy Pokemon will stay on the map longer after being fed Berries/Poffins
• Guaranteed chance of Rockruff from certain Eggs evolving into Dusk Lycanroc
