How to Join Pokemon GO Rogue of the Jungle Special Research

The Rogue of the Jungle Special Research launches on Thursday, March 21st, 2024 at 10 am local time. Trainers can purchase the ticket for $7.99 in the in-game shop or web store until Monday, March 25th, 2024 at 8 pm local time.

Once purchased, there is no time limit to complete the special research story at your own pace. However, players must claim it before the March 25th deadline.

As usual, the Special Research in Pokemon Go is split into 5 stages packed with various tasks to complete and rewards to earn along the way. Here are all the Rogue of the Jungle steps:

Rogue of the Jungle Step 1

The first tasks for Rogue of the Jungle Special Research are:

  • Complete 5 Field Research tasks 
  • Catch 25 Grass-type Pokemon 
  • Evolve 3 Grass-type Pokemon

Completing these objectives will net you 2 Silver Pinap Berries, a Seedot encounter, and a total of 20 Poke Balls

Stage Completion Reward: 1000 Stardust, 10 Razz Berries, and 2 Fast TMs.


Rogue of the Jungle Step 2

The next tasks you need to do for Rogue of the Jungle Special Research are:

  • Explore 5km
  • Catch 25 Dark-type Pokemon 
  • Evolve 3 Dark-type Pokemon 

Accomplish these tasks to earn 2 Golden Razz Berries, a Galarian Zigzagoon encounter, and 10 Great Balls.

Stage Completion Reward: 1000 Stardust, 5 Hyper Potions, and 2 Charged TMs.

Rogue of the Jungle Step 3

The third step requires:

  • Spin 25 Pokestops or Gyms
  • Power up 5 Grass-type Pokemon
  • Make an Excellent Throw

After completing these tasks you will earn 2 Silver Pinap Berries, a Cacnea encounter, and 10 Ultra Balls.

Stage Completion Reward: 1000 Stardust, 5 Revives, and 1 Incense.


Rogue of the Jungle Step 4

For the fourth step of Rogue of the Jungle Special Research, trainers must:

  • Use 5 Super Effective Charged Attacks
  • Power up 5 Dark-type Pokemon
  • Use 10 Berries to catch Pokemon

Accomplish these tasks to obtain 2 Golden Razz Berries, a Scraggy encounter, and  Rare Candies.

Stage Completion Reward: 1000 Stardust, 1000 XP, and 2 Premium Battle Passes.


Rogue of the Jungle Step 5

Last but not least is the fifth step. The final step involves:

  • Winning 3 Raids
  • Catching 15 different species
  • Defeating 5 Team GO Rocket Grunts

When you finish all three tasks, you will get 2 Silver Pinap Berries, an Absol encounter, and 10 Zarude Candies.

Stage Completion Reward: 1000 Stardust, 3 Zarude XL Candy, and Zarude encounter.
