Niantic has recently announced the September 2024 Community Day in Pokémon GO! This is a monthly event that focuses on one specific Pokémon, increasing the chances of it appearing in the wild while also making it more likely to appear in its Shiny variant. There are also a lot of bonuses for Pokémon Trainers to discover. Here is everything you need to know about the September Community Day in Pokémon GO:

Pokémon GO September 2024 Community Day Pokémon

The September 2024 Community Day in Pokémon GO will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

There will be not one but two featured Pokémon during the Community Day - Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta will appear more frequently in the wild. You might also encounter a Shiny one.

Evolving Ponyta or Galarian Ponyta during the Community Day (or up to five hours afterward) will get you Rapidash or Galarian Rapidash with the Charged Attack Wild Charge.

Pokémon GO September 2024 Community Day Bonuses

During the event, players can get the best out of some sweet bonuses:

• 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
• 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
• 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
• One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
• Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

Pokémon GO September 2024 Community Day Special and Field Research

For just US$1.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency), players can join the Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta Community Day–exclusive Special Research. You can also purchase and gift tickets to friends with whom you've reached a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

The Field Research can get you rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, additional Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta encounters, and more!

Pokémon GO September 2024 Bonus Raid Battles and Showcases

After the Community Day is over, Pokémon trainers can join four-star Raid Battles with even more Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta.
