PoP: The Lost Crown - Ancient Power Unearthed Walkthrough

One of the first side quests in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is Ancient Power Unearthed. You receive this quest when you first talk with Kaheva, the Blacksmith, in Haven. To initiate this quest, you first need to obtain the Bow of Menolias and then return to Haven in the Lower City. This will unlock the yellow gate that leads to Kaheva's Forge.

Talk to Kaheva and pick the Ancient Power Unearthed option to start. Kaheva wants you to find a special ore.

How to Complete Ancient Power Unearthed Side Quest

You will need to do some basic platforming with your chakram to reach this location. When you reach the room with the Ore, you'll see a treasure chest. To access its contents, you must survive a challenge involving moving spikes without getting hit even once. Here's a quick guide to avoid the spikes:

• Jump over the first spike bar coming from the right.
• Two more spike bars will approach from the left and right. Jump at the right time.

• Two more will come from the right. Run to the left wall and wall-jump over them.

• Three more spikes will come from the left. Simply jump above each one.

• A rotating spike bar will approach from the left. Simply walk below it.

• One rotating bar and two normal spike bars will come from both sides.

After dodging these spikes, you can take the Raw Ore. Return to Kaheva to complete the quest. She will reward you with a new amulet, the Shield of Mithra.

This amulet creates a small time bubble when you parry. It's particularly useful early in the game to slow down projectiles and enemies, allowing you to execute your combos without disruption.
