RAID: Shadow Legends has once again blessed us with a double chance event, which also comes at the perfect time to load ourselves up with some copies of Arwydd for Wixwell’s fusion event.
This event only doubles the chances for Epic and Legendary Champions from Ancient Shards, which some can see as either a good or bad thing, regardless if you have been saving up your Ancient Shards then now is a good time to spend them.

Ancient Shard Double Chance Event Duration
The double chance event this time around will last for a total of 3 days. Additionally, for the first 2 days of the event players will have 10x the chance of getting Wallmaster Othorion from those Ancient Shards. You can see the full breakdown in the table below:

Given that you only have until May 12th to make use of that x10 chance for Wallmaster Othorion, it might be a good idea to crack open those Ancient Shards before then, as you’ll be missing out on the double event.

How to Play and Rules
Participating in any double chance event is quite simple. All you need is luck and tons, upon tons of Ancient Shards. After that, all that’s left is to head on over to the Portal, select Ancient Shards, and start spamming the Summon button.
During this event players will have doubled chances of getting Epic and Legendary Champions from Ancient Shards, bringing the percentage to the following:
- Epic - 16%
- Legendary - 1%
This is the perfect time to pull for Epic and Legendary Champions as during this event you will likely have to spend way fewer resources to get Champions for these rarities.
NOTE: This event only affects Ancient Shards. Other shards DO NOT benefit from the increased percent chance for Epic and Legendary Champions.
Additionally, Wallmaster Othorion has a 10x chance of appearing in your Legendary summons for the first two days of the event, so if you need this Champions and haven’t been able to get it, now might be a good time to crack open those Ancient Shards.
