The Free Gear Removal event will last for a total of 4 days starting today, November 20, 2024. This means that the event will last until the end of this week, giving you more than enough time to swap gear, get some champions leveled up for testing, and maybe even find a new op team to use. Event Details
To put it simply Free Gear Removal events allow you to remove or swap equipment for zero fee. Generally, when you try to remove a piece of equipment or swap it to a different champion, you will be required to pay a small Silver fee to get the job done. However, during the free gear removal events, this fee is brought down to 0, allowing you to remove and swap pieces without having to worry about dipping into your Silver savings. This makes the Free Gear Removal event a great time for both newer and veteran players to hop into the game and test builds and champions to their hearts' content. What makes the event even better is that it has no barrier to entry, meaning that you only need to log into the game throughout the duration of the event to benefit from it.
There are two ways for you to check whether the event is still active or not. The first is by looking for a purple helmet icon under your profile. Once you find it, click on it, and it will tell you how much time there’s left until the end of the event.
The other way is by going to your Champions, choosing a piece of equipment, and trying to remove it. If there is no cost for removing the piece, it means that the event is still active.
