Toshiro the Bloody is the newest Mythical Champion joining the Shadowkin faction, and is an interesting addition to the RAID: Shadow Legends roster.

As with other Mythical champions, Toshiro the Bloody has two forms, the base and alternate forms. In Toshiro the Bloody’s case he switches his main role depending on which form you choose. His base form gives him an Attack Role, while his alternate form gives him an HP Role so it is up to you to decide on which one you want to use in battle. Let’s look at some of the strengths of both of his forms.

Base Form

RAID Shadow Legends Toshiro the Bloody Base Form
Plarium / Gameleap

Toshiro the Bloody’s base form is set up in a way where Toshiro will deal insane amounts of damage as long as he has the [Leech] debuff present. Thanks to his kit, however, he has a ton of ways to apply [Leech] so you’ll be set on that front.

His A1 is a standard 1 enemy attack that also has a 50% chance of attacking another enemy if Toshiro the Bloody hits an enemy with the [Leech] debuff. Furthermore, this skill also places a [Perfect Veil] buff on Toshiro, which is a good addition.

His A2 is an awesome attack that hits 4 times at random, with each hit increasing Toshiro the Bloody’s ATK and HP by a set percent. Worth noting is that his percent is doubled when attacking enemies under a [Leech] debuff while also increasing the skill’s damage, making it one powerful skill.

His A3 is his bread and butter. A good all-enemies debuff skill that places a good [Decrease DEF] debuff, alongside the [Leech] debuff that Toshiro the Bloody so desperately needs to tie his kit together.

Finally, his Base Form’s passive is a good skill that fills Toshiro the Bloody’s Turn Meter every time he attacks an enemy with the [Leech] debuff, while also increasing his damage against opponents under the [Leech] debuff.

All in all his Base Form seems like it will make him a good choice for Hydra and Clan Boss. Keeping up the [Leech] debuff might seem annoying at times, but if you manage to have constant uptime on it, you’re going to be seeing a lot of damage from Toshiro the Bloody in his Base Form.

Alternate Form

RAID Shadow Legends Toshiro the Bloody Alternate Form
Plarium / Gameleap

In his Alternate Form, Toshiro the Bloody switches from an Attack role to an HP role. In this form once again Toshiro the Bloody relies heavily on the [Leech] debuff to this time increase his healing capabilities.

His A1 is a good all-enemies attack skill that also has a chance to increase the duration of all debuffs, making it a good way to have a constant uptime on the [Leech] debuff.

His A2 is once against an all enemies attack that heals the whole team, except Toshiro the Bloody for a set percent that is further increased based on the number of [Leech] debuffs the opponents have.

His A3 is yet again an all-enemies attack that places both a [Decrease SPD] debuff and a [Leech] debuff for 2 turns, while also giving Toshiro the Bloody an extra turn. Nothing too complicated her, and a good way to get Toshiro the Bloody started.

Finally, his Alternate Form’s passive doubles the amount of healing Toshiro the Bloody receives when attacking enemies under the [Leech] debuff while also reducing the damage Toshiro the Bloody receives when attacked by opponents under the [Leech] debuff.

Overall not that spectacular of a form. It seems like a good sustainer/healer role that will be useful in some situations but overall seems somewhat weaker than his Base Form. Though it is still early to say and more testing will be needed.

Summary

RAID Shadow Legends Toshiro the Bloody
Plarium / Gameleap

All in all, Toshiro the Bloody seems like an interesting Mythical Champion who can cover two roles if need be. He can deal a ton of damage in his Base Form, making him a great choice for both Hydra and Clan Boss, while also being able to deal some damage and support his team in his Alternate Form.

If he finds his place in the meta and scores high on the tier lists is still early to say and will need more testing when he does come out, but for now, he looks like a good contender and a good addition for the RAID: Shadow Legends roster.
