RAID Shadow Legends: Upcoming Champion Rebalance

RAID: Shadow Legends has announced that their newest update, 9.30, is in the making and should be hitting the live servers soon. With it, players can expect to see a rebalance update for the legendary champions Warchief and Gurgoh the Augur, which update will try to help these champions become more viable in both PvE and PvP.

Warchief

With this rebalance, the RAID team hopes to make Warchief more usable by changing up a lot of his skills and even giving him an Aura passive. This will hopefully make Warchief not just a reliable Defense champion who can tank for the team, but will give him decent CC in the form of the [Provoke] debuff. You can find all of the changes coming to Warchief below.

Skill Changes
A1 - Brutal Force
Old	New
Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Has a 25% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn. Damage inflicted is proportional to DEF.	Attacks 1 enemy 3 times. Each hit has a 25% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn. Each hit also heals this Champion and the ally with the lowest HP by 3% of this Champion's MAX HP.
A2 - Marauder
Old	New
Attacks 1 enemy. Places a [Provoke] debuff for 3 turns. Steals 2 random buffs from the target.	Attacks 1 enemy. Steals all buffs from the target, and places a [Provoke] debuff on them for 3 turns. Also has a 50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff on all other enemies for 1 turn. Then places a [Shield] buff on all allies for 2 turns. The value of the [Shield] is proportional to this Champion's DEF.
P - Standstill [P]
Old	New
Reflects 60% of the damage taken back to the attacker. DEF increases by 15% for each dead ally.	Whenever an ally under a [Shield] buff is hit by an enemy, heals that ally by 25% of the damage dealt to the [Shield]. Increases this Champion's DEF by 10% for each enemy under a [Provoke] debuff. Will also increase this Champion's DEF by 5% for each enemy not under a [Provoke] debuff.
AURA
New
Increases Ally ACC in all Battles by 60.

Gurgoh the Augur

Gurgoh the Augur is getting a similar treatment to Warchief by receiving an entirely new Aura to replace his old ATK one and getting a ton of changes to his skills, which will make him a good CC and debuff unit for both PvE and PvE. You can find all of the changes coming to Gurgoh the Augur below.

A2 - Bonechiller
Old	New
Removes 2 random buffs from all enemies. Has an 80% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Grants an Extra Turn.	Removes all buffs from all enemies. Has an 80% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Grants an Extra Turn.
A3 - Avalanche
Old	New
Attacks 1 enemy. Places an extra hit if the target has a [Freeze] debuff.	Attacks all enemies. Places a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.   Places an extra hit if the target is under a [Freeze] debuff. CD = 5 Turns.
P - Frost Embrace
Old	New
Has a 50% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on the attacker for 1 turn if this Champion loses more than 20% of their MAX HP on one attack.	When hit by an enemy, has a 30% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on the attacker for 1 turn.   Increases the damage inflicted by allies against enemies under a [Freeze] debuff by 25%.
AURA
Old	New
Increases Ally ATK in Faction Wars by 44%.	Increases Ally SPD in Arena battles by 30%.
